When can I log in to play the game? Seriously?!

If you missed the days of dialup and queue hours of 12+hrs to get into your favorite server, then this is the game for you! :O

SOMEHOW... Despite all this. This game is a well made game with good mechanics.
HOWEVER, this game absolutely DOES NOT RESPECT YOUR TIME. Unlocks spread across multiple levels with a achievement-based leveling system?!?!?!

Why is the overwhelming player experience the first couple of weeks just PURE GRINDING for just being able to enjoy the game it's meant to be. Literally the most wholesome experience I've had with this game was queue into a random who enjoyed Payday 3 and also complained about the common grinding issues. WHY WAS THAT A BONDING MOMENT?!?!?!?!? Why am I being forced by the game devs to solo queue (with varying SERVER CONNECTION) Overkill Touch the Sky, Dirty Ice, Neon Cradle, OR WHATEVER Xp/gold exploit? IS THIS PART OF YOUR GAME DESIGN? DID YOU WANT PEOPLE TO JUST MINDLESSLY CLICK HEADS IN SCOPE/OUT OF SCOPE FOR 50 HOURS? I sure as hell don't enjoy THAT kind of game.

Oh but you're gonna say. Go queue Road Rage, you'll run into people there.... Let's not even get started with this matchmaking system alright? I'm pretty sure the Dev's solution is :"Go make your friends buy, grind, and suffer through the game too".

Let's see what wears out first then. Our diminishing patience or your patches and late apologies. Fix your beta. Not even. ALPHA state game please.

If you're a fan of the Borderlands series, then I would strongly suggest you to try out the 3rd installment. To even suggest this game... is already a tiny bit of a challenge to say the least. It's not everyone's cup of tea that's for sure.

For starters, you're going to have to be patient with this game a bit. There's still some annoying bugs that occur (more often than you'd hope) that could force you to reopen the game and what not. Besides the bugs, the pacing of the game is a lot slower than what we're used to in today's industry. At times this game feels like I'm playing a narrative walking simulator game, other times I feel like I'm Doom guy running out of butts to kick, and finally at times it does feel like I'm playing Destiny shooting these giant bullet sponges.

As chaotic as that sounds.... that's why people love the series to be honest. Its wacky characters and story is what keeps you paying attention to the narration that's being played over you. The humor albeit isn't suited for everyone, but the series knows who its fans are, and not even Randy Pitchford can mess up BL's fan service.

The constantly growing damage values turns this game into a serious RPG with late game elements (unfortunately most casual players won't even get to experience BL's item complexity. Mind you, Borderlands is one of the pioneering series into loot shooters.

And that last part about bullet sponges? That's probably just you being under-equipped at that point in the game. That's called a difficulty curve. It forces you to respect some of the value numbers given in BL3. What's great about BL3 is that.... "bullet sponges" shouldn't really exist until you decide to turn on Mayhem modifiers after completing the main story.

Great RPG to chill out and hang with some friends. The leveling is relatively strict, so you should start the game with a good idea of where you want to end up (if you want to keep playing the game that is). Everything is relatively balanced in my opinion... Not dying is hard after a while :|.

BUT THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT THE STUPID EXPANSION ISN"T OUT YET.
