Game was already very good, and with mod support was always going to be kept playing by aficionados, but the developer has been adding stuff patch after patch. A real Labor of Love

Animations don't match hitboxes, some hazards linger after disappearing, ice ball speed is inconsistent.

Most positive reviews you'll read already list the good parts of the game, so I don't find the need to do so as well. Instead I will address the "flaws" of this game and tell you why, in my opinion, are not grave enough to not get this gem.
First and foremost is the price; 25 €/$ is a somewhat steep price for 25 hours of gameplay total, it can't be denied, however I will say that, except for around 1 hour (to get a couple of fishes which really don't want to be fished) the game is fun from start to finish, money becomes a non-issue once you get into into the loop, and, unless you go looking for it, danger is rare enough that you can concentrate on just fishing.
Second comes the day-one DLC, if you're a person that cares about potential pay-to-win (like me); from what I can gather the couple items it gives are not a real boost, and more of a little flair for you, and a tip for the developers.
Third, and last but definitely not least, are the timed quests; there are, around the world four quests that if you don't complete fast enough will incapacitate the quest-giver, effectively failing them. The real problem is here is not that there are timed quests, but that you aren't told they are timed AND you can't reload a previous save after you find out they are (DREDGE is autosave only). Here the only advice I can give you is to not talk to the hooded figures before getting at least to the end of the 3rd island, when you'll have all the equipment to actually complete these quests or to check online what they are and need, and if you can provide it.
Outside of these 3 I can't really think of any other real flaw you can find; of course if you don't like the gameplay itself you won't enjoy the game, but that's more a preference issue than an actual flaw, and you'll have ample time to refund it if you're not too conviced by the core gameplay.

I could, potentially, make a very detailed review that explains perfectly why this game is a masterpiece, and that you should buy it, but many before me have done a very good job already, so I won't.
Instead I will tell you that I wish (and likely you will too) I was able to repair other Replika models

Beo deserved better

If you're looking for a game to scratch that OG Resident Evil itch then look no further.
Sure, it doesn't look the best it could, or last that long (in less than 18 hours I have done all modes, and gotten all achievements) but is challenging and very fun.
Not sure you want to commit, despite the very low price? There's a demo too, so you can try and see if this game is right for you. If this doesn't convince you to try it I don't know what will, and you will miss out on some real fun.

While the game might be repetitive at times it's a very slow and relaxing experience, and being still in EA (at the time of writing) makes it even more worth it, as many QOL and features are planned to be added

Despite being a game entirely made with the intent to spread interest for sharply-dressed women Helltaker happens to be a very good game, with a nice art-style, a good soundtrack (by Mittsies), fun gameplay, and even a couple of "secrets".
Also, it's free, so no reason to not try it.

One may think this is just the next romantic VN, and while they would be at least partially right, OTL is not just that; it explores greatly the concept of lies and how them and our behavior, especially when related to each other, affect the society and how we relate to it and each other. While at certain points it may look overwhelming it all comes to an unexpected but wished for end, where most of your doubts will be cleared and will decide whether you love or hate this VN. It also contains many, many, jokes and references to other games, most importantly KS and MGQ, music and ancient myths.

I'm not good with reviews so I'll just tell you this: while this game may look silly, making fun of itself and its characters during all the playthrough, it manages to explain how it is to live in an "hard place to live in" (as the developer said) seriously, while still being able to make you laugh and have a good time. This is my main reason for supporting this; sure, it also has beautifully designed characters, an amazing soundtrack and very good waifu material, but for me it's very important that the developers were able to convey a "sad" story through fun events.

I don't know what to write here. What I can is, nevertheless, try this game. It's free and is good; an actual good feels game. It will take no more than an hour to finish it, but you will remember it for a very long time.
