i think this game is insanely good for a free title. my favorite moment really was when the windows were gone. i was intimidated by the scary noises and just kept unpacking my boxes 'til i got to the kitchen.

the graphics really lend themselves well to the eeriness of the game but i really feel like some of the narration was too on the nose sometimes. saying that something "feels off" or describing how the main character was feeling, etc. i was already feeling those things so it kinda takes you out of it to have that reiterated to you. instead of telling me that i could feel the man in the void's anguish, i think it would have been more immersive to describe the scene in more detail and allow me to feel that for myself.

regardless, i think the game was really solid! 6/10

Would only recommend the first 1 or 2 chapters, latter half of 2 and all of 3 are not that great, i feel like less could have been more with this story, bossfights can be quite unfair sometimes, puzzles and where to go can be impossible without a guide or if youre psychic and can directly read airdorf's brain for the answers. personally i am psychic so it was easy.

i get that this is supposed to be emulating games from the 80s and whatnot, ive immersed myself in those plenty but mechanics have advanced for a reason, i feel like this game could do with plenty of QOL changes if theyre implemented in a way that does not harm the feel of the game.

Ok so hear me out I have 100+ hours on my iPad playing this game and i just hate how rng reliant it is. a god run can just go down the drain to a bad pull and an enemy deciding to deal 2345678 damage just on that turn. which honestly has led to more frustration than fun. though i still play this game daily :") and i've only beaten the heart like twice. am i doing something wrong?

yes id recommend because its so fun when your run is going well/semi alright but no because your run can just go to ♥♥♥♥/youll die in a matter of literally 1 turn :/ feel like some rng needs a bit of tweaking

Not sure if its just me but the palette is so drab and everything looks the same that it takes me a while to process my surroundings and understand where I am/where I'm supposed to go. I think the levels aren't that well designed but everything else is perfect

old friend gifted me this game 2 years or so ago, played 100 hours in the span of like 3 weeks, addictive as ♥♥♥♥, even more addictive if you have friends willing to stay up til 7am with you
