Beware: This game is VERY poorly optimized at the time of writing. You will need a beefier rig than you think you will need. That said, it's still Monster Hunter, and it is still FUN AS HELL! I would advise don't try to hunt with your friends until you finish the main story (aka Low Rank). It's really awkward to do so. Once you hit the credits and make it to "high rank," multiplayer is much much easier.

This game is so delightfully earnest, positive, and hopeful. Honestly it's refreshing. I wish there were more Vampire Therapists in the world. The number of times while reading Those Vampire Books That Shall Not Be Named and thought to myself "Everyone in this story needs therapy. WHY IS NO ONE GETTING THERAPY?!"

And there's even a dig against said books, which made me laugh until my eyes watered and my stomach hurt. Thanks for this game!

This is an extremely well put together game. Plays great and is super fun, and it keeps getting better! Obviously made by people who played a lot of Star Fox in their youth, like me. I played a lot of Star Fox and the skills translate quite well. Just recently got a campaign mode with actual story and SHOCKING the story is actually good and not at all cringey? I may die of shock!

GET THIS GAME. It is good.

This is the DS version of the game, but (slightly) prettier. Like Final Fantasy IV? You'll like it! One thing I caution about, this game does that thing where "normal" difficulty is easy difficulty in disguise. If you want the "standard" difficulty, pick Hard.

I got this game because I was feeling ill and wanted something chill to play. It delivers! This game is both relaxing and adorable! I spent my time wandering the island gathering pretty flowers, which flew off my store shelves. I still feel I've barely scratched the surface, just from looking at all the upgrades and customization options there are. I am very much looking forward to playing more!

A Zelda-alike with a top-notch soundtrack (seriously it's soooo good), and an absolutely beautiful art style, all steeped in Japanese mythology and folklore. Like Zelda? Have any interest in Shinto mythology? Or perhaps you just like animals and nature? Then you owe it to yourself to play this! This is THE definitive version of Okami. There's no reason play any other.

First off, this game is ridiculous. As in, ridiculous in the best way possible. It's silly, it's fun, and it's so over the top it's not even funny! No, wait, it's hilarious. My bad. Look, I don't even LIKE shooty type games and I'm loving this one. First five minutes of the game and I was hooked. Seriously. Like action movies? Like to run around and be the baddest mother ever? Always wanted to be totally ~fabulous~? This is the game for you!
