Simply put, this is probably the greatest character-based RPG of all time. Do you like awesome NPCs? ME2 is for you. The plot's a bit shaky, but gameplay is amazing and did I mention all the great NPCs? This game has great NPCs and the epic Elcor Hamlet.

The leveling is strange, the gameplay wonky, and I hope you like clearing the same 6 rooms over and over again, but this is the beginning of one of the best RPG series of all time, and definitely not to be missed for either the story, the characters, or the extreme Mako driving.

Take the excellent gameplay of Fallout 3, add a story with tons of variations, and it's almost like getting the best parts of both a Bethesda game and an old school Bioware game with guns. The only downside is the highly variable quality of the DLC.

Look, it's like Portal only with twice as much portaling and a leopard king turret taking over the earth. Best humor writing in my collection.

Deeply flawed in its way, the boss fights are a war crime, but some of the best stealth-based gameplay around with a story that tries to say some things.

Anything I try to say about this is a spoiler, so: this may be the most powerful story I've ever experienced in a video game. I don't care if you aren't into zombies or horror, run do not walk to play this.

They'll probably find me in a padded room someday ranting about my vassals being full of hate. An enormously addictive simulation of war, infanticide, and general medieval supervillainy.
