Really good game, the gameplay kinda just feels like a playground after learning everything

Konami has bad higherups. and usually i would say thats a bad thing, but this has lead out lord and savior to better pastures, creating a World of his own, rather than just a game series of his own

i dont think ive beaten it, or im near the end, but i probably wont because like
its an ea game, they probably throw in some stupid ♥♥♥♥ about your sister being a big bad villain or something and then call it a day after shutting down the online servers

you have to mod the ♥♥♥♥ out of it but it can be really fun

i was seriously thinking about 100%ing this. i knew it would probably eat like 30 hours of my life, but itd be funny to keep on my profile
though a few hours in i decided to check the reviews, and there are an alarming rate of people who played the game for 6-7 hours and then the game crashes. i do NOT want to experience that, and personally, i'd rather not stay up 40 hours straight making sure i get that one last achievement, if htere was a saving feature then i'd absolutely do it though

i wanted to note, that a garrys mod map version of desert bus was made a while back, and i odnt think it reaches the same amount of quality visually but i feel like it somewhat matches the effort, and i recommend it over this anyday simply because garrys mod is so moddable it becomes unrecognizable

day 2 thoughts
actually, im starting to like this mod alot more. ive found that,

while the HD models are.. "HD", they have some reload animations, even if i cant actually reload them, its fun to pretend i am
there actually is some physical buttons and turnable valves! its really cool!
the crowbar feels like it gets buggy if you use it for longer than like 5 seconds without swapping between weapons
theres a punching feature! i hope / wish it staggers enemies for a moment, i havent been able to test it much

i was surprised to see i was wrong about this game!! im gonna play more later


day 1 thoughts
this is def not the definitive version of half life, but thats okay
if you want a true half life 1 experience, i dont know where to point you, but for now its not here!
this mod has tons of issues, but i feel like the biggest bunch are as following

You cant two hand, or interact with weapons, at all really
turning valves and interacting with pretty much anything else is still just bound to a single key press
the ancient menu you use to save and quit, n stuff

but i found that ladder climbing is pretty alright
and throwing grenades feels.. good! not perfect, but pretty good
i LOVE the cute hands you're given, the little flashlight is so adorable (though its a bit hard to aim..)

i think this is made by one guy, so i feel bad criticizing or being mean. imo, you should see about getting more passionate people to help with this! effort in numbers multiply outcome, with stuff like this i find

my feet hurt.


i have a handful of complaints, but they're not exclusive to episode two or anything. the ending is really hard, and i had to turn it to easy. but other than that, i dont like how when you're in vents sometimes your hud gets stuck somehwere else, or when you do get a weapon out, it gets stuck inside walls n ♥♥♥♥, but thats more of an issue in the base game, and i only had it really bother me in one area in nova prospekt,,

my only issues were with the way the car cameras worked, but other than that i think thats it
