I think the only things I'd say against this game is that the darts minigame is not as good as the previous one. Requires twitch reflexes, which is stupid for a darts game.
Also a LOT of this game is cut scenes. It feels like there are more in this one that the last. Though, I kinda like them, as I like the story. Something to watch out for if you hate treating half of your game as a movie.
Otherwise, this is at least as fun as the previous games. Worth a buy.

About as good as Yakuza 0. If you like that game, and want to continue the story, might as well get this one too.

The music is incredible. It's too good.
I think the gameplay is good enough I might try to finish this game.
Definitely reminds me of Command & Conquer, but more.

Difficulty is broken. There are later levels you will have to hope for bad AI in order to win on Hard. The word Casual burns in my mouth... but levels like NOD 11a are too much of a crap shoot for even Normal.

I forgot how ball bustingly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ some of the later NOD missions are. Your micro skills will be sorely tested, but you may still lose due to some randomness of the AI, or because the map forces you to find things out the hard way and then retry/reload. A lot of the unit centered missions are more painful than anything else. Some is due to the older design of the game, it being one of the first. I like it, but I'm wondering if these later missions are worth playing. I'm really only playing for the cutscenes and the music.

A symphony of gun-play and ultraviolence. This is worth it.

Works, and makes the game a very different experience. Kinda neat! Actually pretty good for a free add on.

Very interesting strategy game, but can be pretty slow.

It looks like they have enough patches on this for it to be playable, now.
You will need a beefier graphics card if you really want to see how beautiful this game is. I have a GTX970 4GB STRIX, and managed to play with almost all settings on medium, except the texture quality, which I managed to bump to High. It is a bit ugly when you set textures lower than High.
It felt pretty slow because of the beginning is pretty much a tutorial, but after that the fun starts picking up, especially as you start unlocking things. I got it for 63.99 (discount from 79.99), and I think I'll be getting my money's worth on it.

Update:
Got a better graphics card, and this game is very pretty at higher settings. Only problem is that it will crash with a ERR_GFX_STATE error after a short period. Still waiting for a patch on that.

Pretty great. Only complaint is that sometimes it can get a little confusing on how to advance. That might be my a problem with my atrophied brain though.
