Early Access Review
Overall I recommend if you want a good looking fantasy building kind of game.

As long as you can identify a quick route out of the shroud, it's only a problem some of the time.

Making round buildings is a bit of a pain as everything is composed of blocks.

Unlike other sandbox games there are a LOT of different tiles for building, and a lot of decorations.

Unlocking everything will take quite a while, but you can find most (I think all?) of the artisans you use to build things within the corner of the map you start in.

Magic chests automatically supply workbenches and artisans in the same area, which helps quite a bit when building things. BUT there are about 5 different sizes and no real recycling one object so you can build others, so you can be left with a lot of small chests if you get a little too enthusiastic building them before getting to the largest one (Huge).

Because you can build pretty much anywhere, and destroy most things, you can also craft situations that can make boss and other battles a little too easy.

Soloing some dungeons may be frustrating, but this can be mitigated by over levelling a little and going with the Tank part of the skill tree. It's doable, but you may have to grind a bit. Not as bad as certain other games like Conan for grinding.

Do you know a little javascript? Do you want to?
I think it provides a good environment to experiment.
This is a neat game about using javascript to "hack()" servers for cash.
Use cash to add body augmentations that make a lot of numbers go up.
Amongst the files are text clues to something plot wise that might be interesting.
I find using javascript to automate things is fun and sometimes a little frustrating, realising your code could be cleaner...

As of writing this, I can say there are still many minor story bugs that need to be fixed.
This game is definitely worth buying if you like RPG's with a lot of detail and story choices, as well as pretty decent tactical play. I love the main characters and the side characters. The only thing I have against this game is the bugs, but I expect those will be ironed out in time. Might also require a new game. Got about 200+ hours on this game so far, and I suspect there may be another 100+ to go.

Finished the main game though not all the side quests, and I believe this is my favourite Dragon Quest game!
As easy or as difficult as you want it to be when first starting the game, and overall a very pleasant "Young Adult" level story.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is a Dragon Quest fan.

TENTATIVE RECOMMEND
STILL JANKY
It's a pretty cool first person dungeon crawl adventure roguelite, with a neat inheritance mechanic for skills and some items. Also has a simple but kinda neat weapon building mechanic.
Attacking is either melee or zapping with wands. Though, you could shoot magic out your weapon if you have the right skill.
There are over 60 different skills that I can find in wiki's, but there are more. Many are very fun, and I think you can get them all over time.

I got 14 crash errors from what might be every time I quit the game.
Item overlap will hide things, but if you keep an eye on your map at least you will find the important items.

The most annoying thing I found was the platform jumping you end up being forced to do (eventually).
BUT I did mostly figure it out and it's not too bad now, but I kinda still hate it.

Beautiful and slightly unsettling visual feast.
A dimensional puzzler.
If there were tentacled monsters or dimensional shamblers lurking around the infinite corners of this reality I'd probably be crapping myself.
As is I am a little unsettled but I love the beauty of it.

This game is totally worth it if you like weird, silly, sometimes sad, and sometimes hilarious fighting games with a lot of cut scenes and mini-games.

I'll probably end up playing this game again sometime.

Pretty Brutal at times, but not insurmountable.
Beautiful visuals, though sometimes horrifying.
Tragic story when you bother to pay attention to it, but you don't have to.
Worth the money if you have the time to spend on a challenging game.
