Good atmosphere, coherent artstyle and a story that's open to different interpretations. Maybe a tad bit short but I think the length works well considering it's simplistic gameplay,

Relatively new player here, I recently got word of something awful. Someone who put many many hours into this game and it's community, got permabanned. This person made educational videos on the game, taught privately, gave extremely good advice on how to improve the game itself and more.
But it seems the advice was unwarranted, you see, Soter Dave (on YT) exposed the game's horrendous cheating problem a while ago. It seems that this and Dave's legitimate criticisms of the game got someone's feelings hurt and as a result Dave got permanently banned. Which for obvious reasons is pathetic and really highlights the already bad image of this game's dev(-elopers)
I'm not sure to what extent this affected Dave in his decision to take his own life, but it is highly likely to be related considering his great investment into the game.
On top of that, as soon as the developer team(or community manager I assume) got wind of this, any and all posts that mention Dave in the forums quickly got deleted. Followed by a soulless corporate response: "Please respond to the occasion with kindness and respect for each other. You never know what someone may be going through on the other end of the keyboard."
I don't need to spell out the hypocrisy here do I?

Shame on whoever made the decision and shame on being an awful developer in general.

Normally one would likely say something along the lines of 'stop playing', but I don't think that's what Dave would've wanted.

Short and Sweet

A nice chill-game.
The vanilla content is alright but a bit lacking, especially the story in my opinion.
But that's where mods come in ;>
