I wouldn't say "don't buy this game": I just wish I hadn't bought it so that I could still enjoy CS1.

It's been a year since the turbulent release and except for resolved the critical bugs, the game is still not on-par compared to the first game's quality and content.

With regular crashes-to-desktops and game-simulation speed grinding down to a halt after 150K-200K population;

there is no point in being creative (you're already unable to, since there isn't much content to suit your narrative yet)
there is no point in being expansive (because after some point, each simulation minute takes five minutes)
there is no point in discovering (because you cannot spend your skill points without an either-or question, it's never both unless you play with 'everything unlocked')

There are improvements to the first game, such as mixed-zoning and road-building --which I'm also angry about because now I can't go back to the first game after getting used to the comfort of these newer mechanics.

I'm in such a state that I can play neither the first nor the second game with actual enjoyment.

Pretty amazing game where one developer worked for seven years to combine Tropico + Cities Skylines + Medieval: Total War + Frostpunk into a single game.

Very stable and well-fletched for the early access with minimal game-breaking bugs. Better made than some AAA games of the past years.

An interesting game where you uncover the story by watching 5-10 seconds (rarely, 2-3 minutes) of video clip interviews of a police investigation. As the clips are not in chronological order, you'll need to grab a notepad and a pen to take notes while you play the game and follow each clip.

A perfect game to couch-play with a loved one or a friend as you'll both take notes and argue about the story and who-did-what. It takes about 4-5 hours to complete the game. You'll probably play it only once, but it has a unique gameplay that no other game can offer and it'll be an experience you'll never forget.

Best played in a late night, with coffee and cigarettes, writing hasty notes about the intricate connections of characters of the investigation.

Game of the year. Stray is innovative in terms of storytelling and you'll easily feel attached to a strange ambiance with characters that you can sympathize with. I think it's best played taking the day off between 1-2 hours of gameplay; the story would feel short otherwise. It's a very fun game to play with a friend; sharing the controller between levels, chilling on the couch with beers. 10/10 game.

A dead game filled with racist aimbots.

This old game is still better than Total War: Rome 2.

My 2nd favorite Total War after Rome 1.

There are some legendary cars & tracks. It can be a chill game to play after a long day or a highly competitive racing sim. Depends on you.

The ♥♥♥/USA ambiance is perfect. The characters are interesting and the plot line is intiguing. It makes you forget that this is a puzzle game.

10/10, would listen to "fun trivia" of alcoholic beverages again.

Wonderful game. Too bad it's not on Steam anymore.

Welcome to the game where half of the people in MG/MG2/DMG are Global Elite smurfs and the other half have got wallhacks. Oh sorry, I meant they've just got very good headphones. Because hacks are for p....ies, right?
