This is the first FH game I got into, and I've enjoyed every second of it!
I originally got it on my Xbox One S back when it first released, and later got it on Steam.
It's sad that the game is going to be delisted now, but it's had a good run.
I'm not very pleased that the DLC were removed *before* the announcement was made, would've been nice to have the chance to purchase any DLC I might've wanted, but it is what it is.
I've gotten 83 hours of enjoyment out of this game and have done pretty much everything there is to see.
I 100% recommend this game, grab it before it's removed! It's got a massive 80% discount at time of writing, and it's worth every penny!
Thank you Playground Games for all of the content over the years!

Can confirm it opens, and dark mode works

Update: Created a simple quest, and it worked. So far haven't encountered any issues.

Early Access Review
Overall it's a fun game to play with friends. My friend and I have both played 9 hours together and we've enjoyed it. I haven't tried any mods yet, I wanted to experience the game as-is for a little while.

The game-play loop is quite simple but the random generation keeps it interesting.
You're given a quota to meet which is the value of the scrap you need to collect. You get 3 in-game days to collect scrap and other objects from randomly generated corridors and rooms. You can use your credits to buy equipment to make this easier such as torches, shovels (To be used as a weapon) along with some cosmetic items for your ship. My personal favourite is the boombox.

While wandering the moons surface or wandering the corridors you can encounter various monsters and creatures which you will need to kill or run away from. If all players die and no one makes it back to the ship you lose all of your scrap which will probably end up costing you that run.

While I enjoy the game, when you're first starting out it is very unforgiving. You will constantly lose all of your stuff due to not reaching the goal or due to your entire team dying. But as you learn certain techniques you will get better and better at meeting the quotas and get better equipment to use.

This game really is a metaphor for capitalism.

In short: Buy this game!

It is fantastic! I've already put 50 hours into it and there is so much more to see. I'm on my second run now which I'm going to dedicate to exploration now that I've got the main story line out of the way. The main storyline was amazing! I very much enjoyed playing through it. I chose to go with New Game+.

I'm playing at 4K and it seems to be locked at 60fps. That may not be the case if playing at 1080p, but I didn't test it. My settings are on high. So far it's stayed consistently at 60, but drops to around 30 - 50fps in new Atlantis. I've noticed two bugs so far, Sarahs eyes were closed while talking to me in the bank while I was discussing my house with the bank teller and an NPC spawned 12 foot off the ground and fell. Other than that everything has been okay bug wise. But let's be real, wouldn't be a Bethesda game without something quirky happening with the NPCs!

Going to add more detail to this review soon!

Deep Rock Galactic is an incredibly fun and engaging co-op game that has quickly become one of my favourites. From the moment you start the game, you are transported into a vibrant and immersive world filled with caves to explore, enemies to defeat, and minerals to mine.

The gameplay mechanics are solid, and the controls are intuitive and easy to learn. The game allows you to choose from four different classes, each with their unique abilities and weapons, which makes for a diverse and exciting experience every time you play. The teamwork required to complete missions adds an extra layer of depth to the gameplay, making it a great game to play with friends.

One of the standout features of Deep Rock Galactic is its graphics and sound design. The environments are beautifully rendered, and the creatures you encounter are both terrifying and awe-inspiring. The sound effects are also top-notch, making it easy to become fully immersed in the game.

Overall, Deep Rock Galactic is an excellent co-op game that I highly recommend to anyone who enjoys exploration, mining, and combat. The game is incredibly polished and offers a ton of replay-ability, so you'll find yourself returning to it repeatedly. It's worth picking up, especially if you have a group of friends to play with!

All the fun of the other Doom games but in VR. The VR controls are easy enough to use too.
