I did eventually upgrade to win7 ultimate from pro, some maybe something in that did something to some windows files or something idk, but it's working now

I uninstalled, and reinstalled MW2 several times, eventually it somehow fixed itself, I'm sorry I don't really remember anything other than that as far as how I fixed it
