To address the elephant in the room, I have had basically flawless performance, so I really can't speak to the issues people are having with that. Playing with raytracing on at 4k and I am still getting around 100 fps. Of course I would like a higher framerate, but it has played just fine and looks fantastic.

For the game itself, this may be one of the best Monster Hunters I have played. A lot of the rough edges the series has been known for have been polished off and the new movesets for each weapon feel consistently great. Low Rank isn't exceptionally difficult, I have yet to cart, but have come extremely close to it. In some cases exhausting all my healing items and having to disengage. Which for me is perfectly reasonable to expect in Low Rank. It is very likely that people finding it overall too easy just have a lot of experience in the series by this point, especially if World was their first Monster Hunter.

It is pretty story-forward for a Monster Hunter game, and while I think the story is the best the series has had is not necessarily what everyone is looking for. After a few hours it does settle into much more of the "Cutscene - big hunt - cutscene" flow however.

I still really wish Capcom would let us manually remap controls. Some weapons like Insect Glaive are really hard to execute on with the default control scheme on most controllers.
