The game is pretty fun and I imagine that the late-game would be fun, BUT:
I've got a corpse stuck in the river and I can't pull it out - it's stuck there for eternity. I've looked through a few Steam-Discussions where the same bug happened and some of which are over 7 years old, and yet it hasn't been fixed.

Because of that, I can't progress any further, and my save file is basically ruined.

It's a neat game, but it feels like the developers just don't care.

Counter-Strike 2 is a great game and, in my opinion, almost a worthy successor to CS:GO in general. After almost two years, the game feels like it is at a pretty good state right now.

Now, onto the gameplay aspects: CS2 is an excellent example of a well-designed 5v5 competitive FPS. The core gameplay feels great, and the movement is some of the best I’ve ever seen in an FPS. Meeting new people, playing casual game modes with friends - or even alone - can be really fun! Improving your skills, seeing your progress, and facing increasingly difficult opponents is a rewarding experience for sure.

CS2 perfectly embodies the phrase “Easy to learn, hard to master.” Even the best players in the world still have much room to improve!

Now, a downside: Cheaters. First of all, the situation has improved much. But at the same time, it still doesn’t feel completely fixed. I’ve watched multiple demos of my own games, where opponents are locking onto my head even through walls and smokes, bhopping flawlessly across the map and wallbanging us like crazy. And yet, some of them are still not banned. All we can do is wait for Overwatch to be rolled out to more players.

All in all: CS2 is a fantastic game that’s fun to play, and it’s great for meeting new people. I would definitely recommend it!

Update 31.05.2025: They pretty much fixed the spraying and it feels way better now and the amout of cheaters got decreased incredibly much. I've deleted the spraying part, because it is no longer current and shortened the cheater part.

After only a short time of playing, I can say that this game is a masterpiece! It is so fun and cozy to build your own little town. The building mechanics are pretty easy to learn and also very fun! You have so many options and the picture-mode is great, the only "bad" thing is, that you have very little possibilities to decorate. You have lanterns and banners, but thats somehow it. I hope, there will be many new features soon!

I am very excited to spend many many hours more of playing this neat little game.

BIG recommendation!

Pretty cozy game, but my kitchen broke so I had to repair. Sadly it didn´t work with the hammer. There was a progress bar, but even if the bar was full, the kitchen was still broken. Maybe the problem was, that there was something in the pot, but I hope it is getting fixed soon. I mean, the game is not even three hours released.

And after an hour of playing that game, it is alredy repetetive and extremely boring. Fights are just walking to the back and turning in circles or running backwards and hitting.

At the current State, the game feels unpolished and not really fun. The Idea is good, but "Travellers Rest" made that concept much much better. Wouldn´t recommend to someone else, but have your own try,

Das Spiel ist an sich eine nette Idee, aber das Ende ist bei mir komplett verbuggt. Wenn Kinito mir "Mein Spiel" zeigen möchte, bekomme ich nur ein komplett schwarzes Window angezeigt. Sounds höre ich, aber ich sehe nur meinen Hintergrund und eben dieses schwarze Fenster. Habe dazu im Internet rein gar keine Antwort gefunden. Ich habe meinen Grafiktreiber geupdated und den PC neugestartet, hat aber nichts geändert.

nvidia GeForce RTX 4080
32 GB ram (2x 16 GB)
3 Samsung SSDs (3x 500 GB) <--- Game ist darauf installiert
1 SanDisk SSD (1 TB)

Schade, weil das Spiel viel Potential hat, aber das ist nun mal echt nervig.

Refunded, aber ihr könnt es ja selbst ausprobieren. Wenn der Fehler bei euch auch kommt, könnt ihr es ja auch zurück geben.

Geniale Fortsetzung, anders als Exit 8, aber auch irgendwie ähnlich. Für 3,99 Euro ein tolles Spiel. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Achso und spielt vorher auf jeden Fall Exit 8.

Ein sehr nettes Spiel für zwischendurch, allerdings bereits nach ca. 20 Minuten durchgespielt, aber den Preis auf jeden Fall wert. Wenn ihr alle Änderungen sehen wollt, rechnet mit etwa einer dreiviertel Stunde.
