One of the best remakes ever made, stays faithful to the atmosphere that made the original game such a classic while also taking advantage of the features modern immersive sims have had for years. A must purchase for any fan of the genre and a main front-runner for game of the decade.

This game's legacy in many ways is still tainted by its legendarily awful launch. It's why I haven't even played it myself until a few days ago. Ultimately it's a shame because while not quite as good as Arkham City, Arkham Knight is a great games in its own right. The core combat in this game is the most fluid and polished its ever been. It's impressive how this combat style hasn't felt stale to me after all these years but Rocksteady knows how to make it feel fresh in every installment. The graphics and presentation have aged flawlessly. Textures, lighting, and particle effects/environmental destruction are all S-tier in this game despite being 6 years old. The story is pretty serviceable overall but there are some faults that I have with it. Most of the characters are portrayed very well in the narrative. This includes my favorite rendition of Scarecrow in any Batman media.

BUT, there are some clear negatives with this game as well. Firstly, the batmobile.... It's not even that it's awful, but there's so much of it forced onto you that you grow sick of it very quickly. Even the Riddler puzzles force the batmobile into them. When I said most characters are portrayed pretty well, I'm excluding the eponymous villain. The Arkham Knight has a very sick design. That's the one positive I can give about him. He's a cowardly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who where's his whiny insecurities on his sleeve and you don't even get a satisfying boss encounter with him (all of the bosses in Arkham Knight suck to be honest). It's fascinating how this game has both my favorite and least favorite villain in the whole Arkham series in the same game. Performance wise I was also prone to a few bad crashes. It's a far cry to how bad people claimed the launch version was, but it's noteworthy for me because I've had to restart my computer during these crashes.

Overall, Batman: Arkham Knight is a very satisfying game with a few pitfalls that sour the overall experience a bit. Knowing how hooked this game had me the past few days however, the good clearly outweighs the bad imo and I highly recommend this game to anyone that wants a good superhero game to dive into. 8/10

One of the better Metroidvania/2D Souls-like games to come out in recent years. I'ts still not without its problems as the level design and boss difficulty feels like it should have been reversed imo (levels are easier to explore but bosses should put up much more of a fight).

The art style and lore are INCREDIBLE and are honestly the main selling point of the game for me and was what kept me engaged for an entire playthrough. Overall around a 7.5/10 for me and absolutely worth picking up at some point as there will be free updates and expansions on the horizon that I hope flesh out the game and make it an even better experience.

Update: After the free expansion update that released a few months ago, I believe that the changes and added content currently found in Blasphemous has made it one of the best games in its genre currently. A 2nd playthrough deepened my appreaciation for all the depth found in the exploration and the new boss battles (as well as the boss music) are absolute thrills to fight. My current score for this game has been bumped up to a 9/10.

A completely different take on the Dark Souls/Bloodborne formula everyone is used to by now. It's still too early to call but I feel that this could be the best game From Software has ever done.

The greatest zombie game I've ever played. I was initally apprehensive of this game but I now see just how incredible this game. Fun as ♥♥♥♥ to play solo or with friends and has enough content to keep you playing for even hundreds of hours.

Honestly, I liked Wolfenstein: The Old Blood much better than The New Order. The story and gameplay have a more distinct focus and it's very direct in how it conducts itself with its pacing.

This has a more distinct "Wolfenstein" feel to it but that should be obvious with the retelling of the classic Return to Castle Wolfenstein in 2001 being the basis of the whole theme of the game. But the styles of gameplay found in the New Order are still present just filled with alt WW2 weapons and enemies.

There's also a literal grammar nazi in this game.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is a very fresh take on the grandfather of the FPS genre. Although the new thing it tries to do are ultimately set back by the fact that the game tries to be both old school and new school at the same time and as a result it loses focus as to what it wants to be.

But ultimately it's a very solid game that is leagues ahead of most other shooters on the market and as a fan of alt history, this game does provide a very unique take on how the world would be if the Nazis won WW2. Some of my favorite parts of the game was simply reading the notes of how the Germans eventually conquered the world. But that still does not mean the gameplay was boring at all.

I mean for christ sake you shoot up a concentration camp in a giant mecha, you can't get more awesome than that (unless you are killing Nazis on the moon oh wait....)

Don't bother wasting your time with this garbage excuse of a sequel. Even fully patched the game still fails to offer up on many of the promises that the developers promises while butchering many of the features found in Rome 1 and Medieval 2. The battles finish too fast at times even when there are armies spanning thousands on each side on the battlefield, there are like 50 thousand factions in the game but with 6 different cultures only so prepare to fight the eastern spearmen for the 100th ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time! Also diplomacy is still broken even in the emperor's edition.
The multiplayer does not have any of the depth of Shogun 2 while the game modes that it does offer would make you rather play the superior rome 1 instead for 50 dollars cheaper (if you are half-lobotomized and decided to by this game full price).
The graphics were never meant to be anything stellar but unless you are running the game from at LEAST High the game will become a theif-deus ex 1 era eyesore.
Overall just don't waste your time playing the game even if you are interested in these kind of games cause there are better options in the franchise (I'd recommend Medieval 2 and Fall of the Samurai for starters). And don't force yourselves to like it either because I've had friends that played this game for at least 300+ hours and still hate the game but they only bother half the time because of youtube and it's the only game that some people want to play mp at the moment.

I'd give this game a 4/10 for failing to live up to the hype in a way that only makes the harsh memories grow worse over time because the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dlc ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over at CA wish to rape your wallet with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ product with even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ expensions just to appeal to the demographic that though Halo Wars and Starcraft on the N64 (yes this is a thing) were good games.
