I will simply put it like this: Ghost of Tsushima is one of the best games I have ever played. Tsushima island looks stunning; the visuals are so good that you feel the need to capture a screenshot almost everywhere on the map. I have no problems with the performance, solid PC port.

Horizon Forbidden West is a masterpiece in every aspect. Built on the Zero Dawn's foundation, it offers great gameplay with lots of options for the player to defeat the machines, superb visuals covering a huge and detailed map and such a special story. 10/10, one of my all time favourites.

I know lots of people are complaining about the game being released in a bad state, with the most annoying problem being the random crashes that occur at every 5 minutes or so, but after a couple hours of gameplay I haven't experienced a single one of these, a fact that makes me feel lucky. Shaders compilation took about 50 minutes on a powerfull machine (i7 12700KF/3080 Ti/32 GB RAM DDR4), which is too damn much. Surprisingly, after this process ended everything was ok, the game runs ok. I was expecting a really big disappointment after the avalanche of negative Steam reviews. It turns out that I hit the lottery with this one, even though the VRAM usage is insane (the game eats 11 GB of 12 in total on 1440p).

I waited years and years for the chance to play this awesome title on PC and now I am happy that I can finally do it. And man, the experience is S+ tier. It's such a shame that Iron Galaxy did a mediocre job here. I feel sad that so many people can't enjoy it without problems, altough things should be better after a patch or two. For example, another super-hyped title - Callisto Protocol - was also a mess on day one (devs managed to solve some issues after the updates). Let's hope all the bad reviews will become a memory in a week or so.

LE: after 2 patches this PC port is in a slightly better state and Steam reviews status changed naturally from "mostly negative" to "mixed". The main ideea is that you need a really strong PC to enjoy this jewel of a game.

Everyone knows that the original Dead Space - made by Visceral Games back in 2008 - was one of the best survival horror titles of all time (number 1 for me), but this remake takes it to a whole new level. Powered by Frostbite engine, Dead Space 2023 is a masterpiece in every aspect, setting new standards for gameplay, horror atmosphere and story telling. Faithful to the original storyline, devs added just small touches to integrate it better in the Dead Space universe, keeping all the essential elements. 2023 version is also perfectly optimized, with absolutely amazing looks and no bugs. You really need to play it, words are not enough. This being said, I have to praise the amazing job done here by Motive Studio, bringing life again, with style, in the Dead Space franchise. 11/10.
