good game

TLDR: Due to Steam technical issue, you should purchase the software from the dev's website for the same exact cost

The software is perfect, but Do NOT buy this on steam. Look at any of the other reviewer's "played time" stats and you will notice that they are in the 1000's. This is because, even while running in the backgrouns, the game reports to your Steam friends that you are running it.

This WAS a minor annoyance, until I tried to run Wallpaper Engine on my TV PC and it exited steam on my Desktop. This makes it impossible to use two pieces of software that I purchased on steam, at the same time. Don't make my mistake

Despite all its shortcomings, the Thief-like core gameplay is fun and unfortunately keeps me playing.

But be warned- This game is UNFINISHED and UNPOLISHED, buy at your own risk. I got it for $7 on sale and i'm still pissed

The core gameplay (fun) is constantly interrupted by unfair, broken, buggy game (not fun)

I just did a great, sneaky run in the industrial building with all the storage crates. I cleaned the place out! On my way out I accidentally walked between a metal platform and a storage crate, i fell and got stuck between the two objects. I had to load from checkpoint and abandon my run, so at that point I just stopped playing. It was like one of those videos where a burglar gets stuck, except this time it wasn't MY fault, it was because the game is barely tested and hastily released. Not the first time that has happened either

The graphics are nothing special but the game STILL runs terribly, items pop in as you walk towards them

There are tons of examples of small QOL issues that make up the bigger picture, here are some examples off the top of my head:

• You get caught on ledges, even ones that are about an inch high
• You can fully rotate 360° while sitting in the car driver's seat (as if you have no body)
• All "item previews" are rotated 180°, no way to flip them rightside up
• Cops can TASER you through multiple floors, walls, and objects

My recommendation? Yarr

It still has a handful of serious issues to iron out, but the dev seems committed and the experience is satisfactory

ISSUES:
audio issues depending on hardware (low bitrate sounds)
level completion issues (some levels dont mark as completed on the first run)
won't mute on program focus loss

This is one of 2 games i keep installed on my drive at all times, endless fun

Good game, but the lack of depth will leave you disappointed. Get it on sale, it's nowhere near the list price, ESPECIALLY compared to other games at the same price. It should honestly be $10 tops

Instant arcade-style action. Quick and intense, can't recommend enough

Beautiful, entertaining with amazing devs, might buy a few more copies to gift to friends!

Lack of MSAA and AA settings are annoying, but can be fixed by editing game .INI 's
If you can get past that it's great arcade shooter fun
Story is better than most movies i've seen
