While the basic idea is great and made me buy this game by itself, it quickly becomes repetitive and just not very fun to play through. I really want to like it more, there are some fun puzzles here and there, but at the current price point I can not recommend it at all.

I wish the best of luck to the developers in the future though, because the idea and the mechanics are good, and I hope their next project will build on the things learned here.

O CANADA and WUV WOO still work
Although because of the proper shadows (instead of the single circle under every unit) WUV WOO doesn't have a heart shaped shadow anymore :(

Also it's just the right mix of updated mechanics and nostalgia, I finally for the first time finished the main campaing without cheats (I'm a terrible player, afraid of the AI and their developer-built fortresses, but I always liked the story) because it's just so enjoyable

Fun little game, with some challenging achievements, and cute lore in the collectibles' descriptions

Nothing spectacular, but a nice concept implemented well enough to worth the price.

The new elements introduced every now and then keep the puzzles interesting.

The Credits reveal is also a nice little detail that's probably underappreciated.

Can be played in a very simple and relaxing way, but there is also room for perfectionism and flourishing creativity. I feel like I will sink many hours into either figuring out the most efficient way of maxing out everything, or just meticulously designing frog stickers.
