Excellent game, in my opinion the best rogue-like ever created. After the original, which I played to exhaustion with friends, overcoming the limitations of the lame multiplayer system via Hamachi and dealing with the game completely breaking when we accumulated too many items, this 3D adaptation has been an incredible evolution. The gameplay has become more dynamic and intuitive, but it has retained the chaotic and addictive spirit that made the first game so special.

The base game is very well structured, with almost infinite replayability, and it's still extremely fun to explore all the possible combinations of items in the never-ending search for a build that turns you into a true god exterminating hordes of alien life. Risk of Rain 2 is simply fantastic and will always be one of my favorites.

That said, the transition from Hopoo Games to Gearbox has left me apprehensive. Although the game is still solid, I feel there's a lot of untapped potential, and the latest DLC has only reinforced that feeling. We could have online events, more maps, greater customization, and even mechanics that allow us to enter other players' games as doppelgangers, causing chaos and making matches even more unpredictable. Adding an in-game currency, earned in specific events or challenges, would also be an interesting way of expanding the experience without detracting from the spirit of the game.

Great game, you'll not regreat it.
It sums up all the great features of an rouguelike, difficult, replayable, complex and makes you come back at it time and time again.

Greattest rouguelike game out there imho.
Fast pace bullet hell insanity, great fun and great rage. Not much to know about it, step one: git gud.
Thankfully the community developed mods and a way to play it online co-op.
10/10 would rage again.

Awesome and brutal game. Wide variety of weapons is really great, plus the fact that the game is incredibly fun even without the pay to win factor that every free to play nowadays have. And it really makes you work for those upgrades.
