paradox rules my life

an MMORPG without all the people. it's nice.

It's a really artful mashup of FTL and Flotilla, with a little Homeworld thrown in for pizzazz. That said, the story is original, interesting and compelling, and full of little easter eggs if you're a science fiction fan already. The roguelike elements are neat and a slightly different take on the usual mechanic. The visuals are lovely, the menus intuitive and the ship-to-ship combat is pretty fun and flexible enough to engage in a little bit of real tactics. It is a little derivative though, no surprises there.

Basically if you ever wished for a sequel to FTL with a larger, more fleshed out world, and combat on a slightly larger scale, definitely give this a try.

such a lovely game

Obvi I finally went back to play these on account of the show. Everyone already knows they're great. Game is still extremely playable today if you take the time to install the ui and graphics mods.

Do not play this game if you value your time XD XD XD

There are not a ton of games that I faithfully check on for several years running, eagerly awaiting the next installment. This, however, is one that I always come back to and am never disappointed by, unless you count being sad when a chapter ends.
