For real, though, for a sim game it’s already got an insane amount of content even in EA. The Dev is solo and has a pretty good set of things available for next updates. It’s got enough now to give you 40-50 hours. And you can really easily get sucked in and just vibe. Plus all the drug making itself is done by hand with fun minigames that aren’t really all that tedious.

No, but that doesn't do this game enough justice.

For one, it's akin to a Souls-like but with a much more lively world. It's just as dark and mysterious, but the story is easier to follow. For another, the combat and exploration isn't punishing, but it isn't passive either.

As it is, in 0.9, the character creation is good, the armor variants are superb, and the world design, weapons, looting, etc, are awesome.

If you want to wait till 1.0 sometime in the Summer, then go for it, but there's enough variation in just the beginning bits that you'll get a different situation most saves.

This game is a better looking SDV with automation, more relationships (more diverse ones, as well) and vastly more quality of life improvements.

SDV walked so Coral Island could run. And it's not even in full release, yet. There are a few bugs (far, far fewer than the other reviews make it sound) and the devs are really responsive and cool.

Truly quite and addictive game with a fun storyline and cool landscapes. The characters are fun and much more diverse than the cast in most farming/life sims.

My only complaint is I can't marry them all.

There's a lot to say about this game. For one thing, it's huge. The characters are well-written, the world is vast, and there's enough content for hundreds of hours.

There's some issues when it comes to stability - for instance, I play mostly on a Mac Air M1. It runs really well save for a few areas, where it does drop frames.

But otherwise, it plays very well.

I can't recommend this enough for folks who like SDV or others like it. It really has more content and better written characters than SDV (in my opinion)

Edit: After like 10 more hours, I can confirm I probably won't be going back to SDV at any point. This is a significantly better (albeit different) farming sim. The largest downside to this game is that there is an overwhelming amount of things to do.

Honestly, this game was made with love for those who love Marvel comics. Every skin and map is detailed and gorgeous. There's a bot lobby that lets you match up against level 1, 2 and 3 bots with other real players - meaning you can still progress the battle pack and missions without playing against other people.

The community, so far, is very friendly. The heroes are easy to get the handle of and very well balanced. There's a TDM game mode which is enjoyable.

Overall, I've played way too much of it and have purchased the battle pack (which is either 5$ or 10$ depending on rank).

Fuel your Pokemon card addiction through this game instead!

Tho, in all seriousness, there's not much to do besides collecting the cards. It's being regularly updated and the dev is working on making the cards playable in a real TCG and they're taking suggestions from players.
