Seriously the game I keep coming back to. Unlimited replayability, because you always throw in some crazy challenge with every colony you found. And with mods, integrated into Steam Workshop, the adventure goes on and on. Want to be a manaicial dictator, and commit war crimes? Go Ahead. Want to build a massive trading empire? Do it. Want to play a psychotic catch and release with your prisoners by giving them peg legs to train up your doctors, harvest and lung and kidney each, get them addicted to drugs, then set them loose? Yeah they might come back in the next raid and make easy pickings for your snipers. While not as obscenly in depth as, say Dwarf Fortress, it is a very approachable game that makes for actual great stories. It's also fun to lose, seriously having one of your last pawns, murder the other then go mad and die to an infected leg? Only in Rimworld. I just built another new gaming computer and the first game I opened in steam? Rimworld
