A game that is nothing short of incredible for a multitude of reasons.

/This phobia exposure therapy machine is made by one man.
Helping you with the likes of Acrophobia, Thalassophobia, Nyctophobia, Claustrophobia and of course lets not forget everyones favourite, Arachnophobia..

/Being this immersive despite the lack of fidelity; The enviroments look damn good. Dev really understands what is important to the vibes no matter the polygons. But the thing that truly allows the immersion is the fact there is no jarring transitions between enviroments. everything looks like it makes sense. Might be pushing suspension of disbelief but as said it never feels jarring. compared to DS2 for example. Pace is also fantastic with some straining tense levels and some Atmospheric "breathers".
Being from the north I am incredibly surprised by how well the mood is executed in this. Only thing i could compare this level of immersion to is Darkwood (another amazing horror machine)which this game surpasses.

/The Absolute masterclass level of creating an engaging experience. Every new level have something different in store. Something to add to the "core" to push the player but not in a unfair manner. New enemies that forces new approaches.
Or sometimes a new gadget. But the most insane thing is, the mechanic you just used. yeah?
you'll never see it again bye bye. AND THE GAME DOES IT EVERY LEVEL! You never know whats gonna happen but it never feels so uncomfortable that it feels off, just enough to make you curious with the exception of spiders.

But in the spiders defence, there is like 20 different types of spiders with unique animation work and behaviours and that in itself is insane. Man... either Dev is obssessed or he really wants to cure your Phobia.
10/10 should be played in your lifetime
