Playing on Linux has a handful of issues. Looks like a good game...

- Lots of text is aliased beyond the point of legibility
- Full screen does not capture mouse. If mouse leaves screen box, game reverts to window size but remainder of screen goes black.
- Zooming is extremely glitchy on load

Linux 5.1.15, BSPWM, GTX 1080 (nvidia-430.26-7)

Early Access Review
The game claims Linux support but requires work-arounds to get it working. I got it on sale, but returned it as the workaround constantly breaks.

I had posted a review back in January about the issue and the developer contacted me to troubleshoot the issue. Since then I've heard nothing from them, and there has been no update in the thread about Linux issues in the Game Hub.

Linux players beware.

Edit: Developer has found a solution to the issue and is looking to push it out. If you're unable to start the game up entirely try the following:

LD_PRELOAD=~/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32/steam-runtime/amd64/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libSDL2-2.0.so.0 %command%

Early Access Review
The game is meh, but a meh that deviates from the other reviews you may find.

The game is a straight grind from the beginning, with a bunch of interesting features but:
- The player base is extremely small (market place is almost useless)
- Lots of counterintuitive settings and features, such as missing transfer buttons and other things
- Game is pretty glitchy
- When someone buys a 2x potion, the entire game gets 2x... that's a bit odd
- A system in place that encourages you to spend money to skip grinding
- Really bad UI (Uninformative stats in odd places)
- The world map looks like it was patched together last second in MSPaint
- Released in 2015, still early access.

Apart from that, the community was extremely helpful and polite during my play period. The game has too many flaws for me to recommend it to anyone, and I've played a lot of MMOs.

Edit: I appreciate seeing the devs respond to my review. I've edited my review accordingly.

This looked nice when I invested in the Kickstarter. Too bad they ran with my money.

It doesn't seem to like progressive house much. It kept generating based on 'peaks' which really didnt match up. A klaptrap remix netting me a 20 second hold. Work great with anything else, but I don't listen to anything else.

Quite an amazing game. The game play keeps you interested and on edge, and the graphics are absolutely beautiful. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys action games.

Looks like a good game... "Looks". The camera is one of the most nightmarish things I've ever dealt with, which makes exiting just about any building a nightmare. You have to look at the door to have the leave option, and that combined with the camera issue can be a multi-minute task. Adding insult to injury, none of the control instructions are ported to PC. Now, this wouldn't normally be a dealbreaker. It is however a dealbreaker in games who's combat systems rely highly on knowledge of said controls. Would probably buy Duke Nukem over this.
