Lackluster update for 10th anniversary of the game.

Online Multiplayer is utterly broken and it worked better in alpha test than now in "beta" releaste. Input latency is awful and everything scales to the player that has the worst ping.
Most glarring issues with the game were not adressed such as Delirium teleporting on top of you (and being awful boss in general), curses in regular greed runs, fully upgraded shop very often has only like 2 things to purchase.

3 years and that's all we got. A half-baked update that feels really rushed and lackluster. Even the steam page logo looks poorly photoshoped.

The game is random in the worst possible way. Plenty of unfun mechanincs that punsih the player on every step. Most of the game mechanics are not even explained to you unless you experience it by yourself (which in this case is very bad). After 30 hours of gameplay me and friends only managed to beat 1 campaign and we were forced to do save scamming and use obscure mechanics to stall final boss into skipping all of his turns.

Truly Outstanding.

Humor, oneliners and cutscenes made me laugh a lot
Shooting is very responsive and feels great
weapon balancing is just right (except for the meathook not stunning enemies)
Music is sick (please release OST already)
Final boss is a cheap ass anime fight with your own self riding a giant Evangelion ripoff mech. And this ♥♥♥♥ slaps hard.

Thanks Hyperstrange for such a fantastic game! Can't wait for more postal games witch such a great gameplay and quality.

Most elaborate trollage of 2019

Very elaborate scam

One of the very rare negative reviews from me.

Got the game from my friend on sale who saw positive reviews and heard good things about this game overall. We wanted to play it together with a group of friends and just chill with cool story etc.
Oh boy was that a miss.

Game is going the most obnoxious way possible when it comes to "gameplay"
First impressions were cool. I was checking all possible options on the given map and hearing the main character's reactions. It felt good for like an hour. But... after some time most of these custom options stopped giving any meaningful informations at all. There were several times where I could look at the drawer and I was like: "Hey let's see what is in there" but instead I only heard a MC saying "This is a drawer". And there are a lot of those interactions, plenty of them. They are completely useless and waste player's time.
I would not be so mad if at some point in the story you are forced to do the most stupid interactions ever to progress the plot. You are not supposed just to just check every single one out of 15+ useless mc monologues in a single room to progress the story. You have to do the exact sequence of useless mc monologues to progress the plot. Literally you have to look at your window -> bed -> shelf -> desk -> book on a shelf -> shelf -> desk to progress the plot. My god. At that point I had to pull out a guide to proceed further in this game. I have no idea how anyone in this world would've randomly guessed that you are supposed to do that. Not to mention the sequence where I have to molest my own teacher who is stuck at a fence in order to progress the plot by looking and touching her crotch 6x in a row... INSTEAD OF JUST HELPING HER. Well... and then there I've checked the walkthrough guide... and there's is a lot of those stupid interactions in this game.
But hey, maybe the plot isn't so bad?

Overall plot idea is interesting. And that's all positives I can say about it. This is a visual novel where you mostly talk with characters. And... uhh.... I've never played a more boring Visual Novel in my life. Most of the time main character is just a horny brat who wants to ♥♥♥♥ anything that moves. He tries his best to be a cool kid with his imagined sunglasses but he ends up being the most annoying character in the whole story. Most of the conversations bring absolutely nothing to the story to the point where I feel like spent 6h out of 9h just on reading meaningless text. I understand that Visual Novels are mostly about those "meaningless" conversations between characters but you have to make it interesting in order to work right. Here it doesn't work by any means. All characters I met so far are simply annoying. But maybe I felt this way because they were annoyed by stupidity of the MC.

if you enjoy playing a visual novel with a tutorial opened because you are stuck every 30 minutes then yeahhh...
Story is ok but all of the character interactions are the most boring thing you will ever encounter in visual novels.
The price point for this game makes it even worse. Can't recommend by any means.

Damn that was really great. Like really freaking good.
Finished main story line and I feel like I missed half of the game content...
There is just so much to do. Game is beautiful, straight up gorgeous graphics.
Gunplay is perfect. Story is what you would expect from CDPR, just pure masterpiece.

Don't listen to angry mob calling the game bad. Experience it yourself.
Highly recommend to play with mods that are aiming to fix bugs and performance stuff.
I didn't encounter any real issues that would make me unable to progress further in the game. Only glitches I came across were bugged character animations, missing audio and weird shadow errors but all of that is simply not enough to call this game "bad" by any means.

Looking forward to all of the future patches. CDPR will get this game to perfect shape sooner or faster just like they did with Witcher 3.

Now I just need to do 100% and experience all of the endings and side content. Man I'm sure I will reach 100h+ in this game.

Action! is by far the most complete recodring software I have ever used.
Recording at high bitrate and resolution doesn't cause any performance drops.
