Nowadays, with no replayability, a gameplay that actually got more dated than you'd think, a (notoriously) bad multiplayer that fells like a study of how long one could grind a game before giving up and start paying for overpriced microtransactions to test the last update for the fifteen minutes of paywalled content it offers, Grand Teft Auto V is already a hard sell.
Throw in the most customer unfriendly publisher on the market with awful support, an unchanged price tag for the past year despite the game having no added value since then, updates that add content on the surface but fail to adress core issues with both singleplayer and multiplayer, an over-the-top harsh stance on modding that will get you in trouble even in story mode and got actual mod creators with actual private investigators at their actual doorstep (and on a personal note, I still can't get over the fact how stupid that is) – it makes not for a game you shouldn't buy, but a game you should avoid, if only to keep to keep your hard earned cash from such disrespectful companies.
