After putting 50+ hours into the game and completing the main storyline I'm ready to write my review for this game.

First off I just wanna say this is a great game.
I found out about Kingdom Come: Deliverance a couple days before the official release, and was interested in it's medieval combat and the idea of an open world hisorical medieval rpg. Other than that I had no real expectations or prior knowledge for the game itself.

In the beginning I soon realized this game is not friendly with my computers specs.

Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.00GHz
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz
MSI Z97 PC Mate
4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (ASUStek Computer Inc)
1863GB Seagate ST2000DX001-1NS164 (SATA)

Even with everything on low with the exceptions of the two textures settings being on medium, I had an average framerate of 28-40. Of course this depends on the area I'm at and what I'm actually looking, but on the scenes that involved a good amount of bodies with heavy armor and weapons for I would drop down to 10-20 frames and in some cases 5 frames. But for majority I played at 30 frames and the game completely playable at 20 or even 15 frames. If you've played arma 3 then this shouldn't be a problem.

The framerate didn't affect my enjoyment of the game at all

Even with low graphic settings the game looked gorgeous and the details on a character were amazing.

The combat at first can be quite difficult since you're not given an actual tutorial till later on in the mainstory, but after understanding the basics it's easy to get the hang of.

Too easy actually.

The Combat AI is not the best. You can be staring at a bandit for a whole minute while he does circles around you before he decides to throw a swing at you. They will however guard well and/or parry your attacks constantly. There are multiple combos you could learn and use in a fight to get the advantage, but in the end you'll realize all you have to do is walk up to them to start a clinch. Overpower them, and get a free hit to the head and basically one shotting them. Made the combat a piece a cake as long as you weren't outnumber 10:1 and being shot constantly with arrows. That being said I still enjoyed the combat before and after It got ridiculously easy

I also realized there is an option to dismount an enemy from their horse in combat and the same can be done to you. I only found one instance where an enemy was on a horse and that was in the prologue of the game. Nor did an enemy attempt to throw me off of my own horse.

I heard many people complaining about having to use a specific potion to save and that descouraged a few people from playing the game or enjoying it.
I had no problem with it's saving function, you could make the potion yourself and/or go buy it off a trader or herbalist. If you had the money you can go to Rattay and easily buy 9 saving potions. Money wasn't hard to earn when you had quests or bandit loot to sell. You can even take the thief route easily and steal till your rich.

People also failed to mention that you can save by going to sleep. If you didn't have the money for a potion (Usually around 90g-100g) you can go to an inn and pay 2g for a bed. Or just go sleep in some beggars bed if you wanted to save. It really isn't that complicated.

The main story is quite short honestly and I was hoping for more before it's actual end. The story is enjoyable and the characters you meet throughout the game are quite entertaining. The side quests have their own little part in exploring the world of kingdom come and share another view of your character Henry. I do have to say halfway through my playthough I started spamming the story since some of the side quests bugged out for me and I had no more motivation to continue doing them. They are great, when they're not bugged!

The speech mechanics were refreshing, Archery is actually hard, Pickpocket is more of RNG, Alchemy is a pain to do, but very neat. Stealth is nothing new besides the color of clothing making a difference in visibility. Stealth attacks are not the best however.

For example, an objective for a quest was to take out a couple of guards without raising the alarms. I would find myself sneaking up behind the first guard. Take him out, but only to have his buddy hear me in the process of taking him down. After multiple attempts, I gave up with the "Steath kill" option and instead just smack the back of his head with my sword and the same thing with the 2nd guard. Succeeding on the first attempt. It is louder to be stealthy at times.

The dialogue is great, the expession of characters is great, and the voice to mouth sync is amazing.

I was surprised with how in depth certain things can be like in Alchemy, but at the same time disappointed with how plain other things in the world of Kingdom Come: Deliverance can be. Like looting items/ containers in the open world.
I expected to be able to go to a storehouse and be able to go through every single container and loot it's contents, but instead I'll see a shelf with barrels and alltogether it's one container holding a small amount of items. Or see a table littered with scrolls and metal objects that look of some value. Only to be just a prop and nothing more. Very limited on what's interactable in the world.

Overall I think the game is pretty amazing. I wished there was more story, but I enjoyed what was given. I highly recommend this for anyone who has good enough specs to handle the performance issues and would appreciate a true Medieval RPG.

I felt like I wrote this like a negative review, but I was just being very nitpicky. There's a lot more to say about this game, but I feel like saying anymore would spoil the enjoyment of playing through the game yourself.
