I'm bad with words, so bear with me.
This game has its flaws, but I can excuse almost all of them, because story is good and it looks pretty(debatable).
The story seems really simple and even childish at first, but then it becomes evident that there is more to it. The fact that you play as 2 characters at the same time doesn't allow you to get bored(that happens to me a lot these days). I really liked the writing, it reminds me of old Tim Schafer games, but this time a bit more serious. Some inanimated objects have better personalities then people in other games.
Speaking of art, I didn't like it at first, but then it grew on me. It's memorable, has it's own charm and is well done. Voice acting is good.
Unfortunately the biggest problem for me in this game is it's difficulty, gameplay and controls. I don't want this to be exactly like old adventures, but at least having use/look/take menu would be cool. Instead when you click on something you instantly take it or inspect it or whatever, I think it takes away from the game a bit. The other problem is that it's way too easy. I didn't have any problem finishing all the puzzles but one instantly.
Still a great game, hope act 2 will be even better.
