Prologue:
Dude I am so disappointed with all the negative reviews. No this is not a genshin clone cause its a real mmo, no this in not FF14 from temu. Its a cute and wholesome mmo jrpg. If you grew up playing games like wow, blade and soul, terra, dungeons and dragons online or even runescape, and you have yerning for a new game that is of a dyeing genre then STOP and just download the game.

You can do pretty much any thing they could in log horizon (an anime) you can cook, fish, have a house, tend to a farm, run a guild, hangout and rp at a tavern or at the beach, or at random places on the mountains at a campfire specificaly setup for players to sit and chat. To have an in game break from the awesome yet grindy combat and resource gathering.

This game is built around a social environment not only in the diy role play but also in the game's mechanics. With world events ranging from "group up and dance or watch fire works" to "there is a colossal threat out side the town" that will lead you to playing with a few dozen people out of no where.

People think this is a pay to win gatcha game from mihoyo it is not. the only thing that is "gatcha" are cosmetics that have no other benefit then to look cool and its not even all of them, it is more like 80%. If thats a turn off then there are options to get outfits straight up instead of a gamble loot box. And frankly those who complain that its a problem to pay for cosmetics... it is a free to play the devs need to make a profit so there has to be a way to market to the players.

there is a way to buy resources but guess what the game has a built in limiter to avoid players from being too ahead from others because the point is that you are meant to make connections and team up, fight along side other travelers... if you dont like makeing friends go play demon souls for the 100000th time.


Auto Play features:
Ok look the point of auto play is not to do the hard work for you. Its ment to be an option for accesability... and if you think thats dumb its really not because even if you arent crippled and think you dont need it... guess what it allows you to go afk to go to the bathroom or cook dinner. Not only that they added an emote that alows you to hold hands and have the host of the emote drag the afk player around in a cute manor bring "game hand holding" to a whole new level.

So if you are looking to simp over gatcha pools this isnt for you. If you are looking for a chill MMO with easy to understand and fair progression system that is based around building friendships and memories then dude sirously stop reading this and just give it a try. like you dont play vrchat with the intent its halflife alyx or beat saber.

Cons
- it has a very confusing market
- it is in early days of live service so content is on the way
- there is ALOT of reading (only the text is in english)
- there a limited amount of "servers" at the moment so anyone out of NA will have a high ping. (but there is a system to find less crowded lobbies reduce lag)
- there is alot of haters that don't have taste imo
- side grind like fishing, mining, and plant gathering is slow to progress
- the Fish minigame is not for everyone
- i am struggling to find more, most of my thoughts on how to improve are
- i would love to have more emotes that are like the hand holding
- the ability to hide or auto hide weapons
- have outfit presets that you can swap between


Pros
- its a real mmo
- flashy and fun combat
- awesome character creation
- grind friendly
- non grind friendly (if you so choose you can somewhat bypass the grind, not completely, by doing the irl job side quest)
- supportive fans
- role play friendly emotes
- every corner you look there is a player
- photo mode and a album feature for memories
- a cool and easy guild system with rewards that incentivize player activity
- its cute
- an advanced but easy to understand leveling system
- a story that relies more on how you interact with the world not force you to think the way the writers want.
- multiplayer story from the get go.
- real multiplayer even with Randoms (not like genshin where those who join are just glorified pets)
- a bountiful and gorgeous world that makes you want to look at every nook and cranny aka no feeling of "nah i will do that later"
- you feel like you are in an anime
- world events are more common when gamers are home from work (during the day its chill but the evening it vamped up for those who don't have endless hours to spend in a game)
- cool raids that host up to 40 players needing you to collaborate and coordinate with your group.


Final thoughts.
This is a mix between a social media and dnd for weebs. Go in have fun and if its not for you that is ok just dont let your opinion cloud your view point. If i would give this game a score it would be 3.6/5 because it does have problems but I know the devs are gonna work on it as time goes on like any other live service game. I give my favorite game warframe a 4.3/5 so take my rating as you will. It said "An anime mmo where you and your friends are the hero" and it nostalgically feels like that without having to shove it down your throat.

So I did everything I could but the game is dead. it wont launch on my pc. I am on windows 10. I have downloaded it on epic ealauncher and steam. this game refuses to open or tell me why it has put me in the cuck chair of easy anti cheat. So save your sanity and play something else or you too will be put in the cuck chair and watch your friends queue up with out you and have to sit there contiplating your life choices. titanfall more like respawn downfall. #cucklife #divorce #ibannedeaonmytwitchchannel #uuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh #staysafedontplay #blueballedhard

Ok for starters I have almost 3k hours of streaming as a vtuber under my belt. I love finding new things for streaming tools and what not. So I have an idea of what makes for a good program for vtubing.

As a new tool this has promise it would make for a good free alternative to getting a leapmotion. How ever there are programs out
there that can provide a similar experience more effectively. Although compared to those programs this one is more user friendly.
It struggles on my mid range cpu (ryzen 5 3600) meaning it would be hard to use whilst playing a video game, and streaming.
I would like to see more options in future such as Ar kit compatibility, or poses like siting down or laying down. I say this because
the app doesnt seem to like abrupt movements there for would be really good for calm and just chatting content creators. Even
with my logitech 9-220 the app struggled to capture my hand and face movement, i would like to see where the app goes from here! I am not trying to seam negative I am trying to give some good feed back. So by all means try it and see if it works for you!

RIGHT NOW THE GAME NEEDS TWEAKS. DAMAGE SCALING DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF MULTIPLAYER UNLESS YOU ARE GLUED TOGETHER LIKE SARDINES, DID I MENTION THAT FALL DAMAGE IS SCALED TOO. BUGS SPAWN TOO FAST, YOU CANT OUTRUN THEM. IF YOU LIKE SOULS-BORN GAMES THEN YEAH COOL THE STAMINA BAR IS BALANCED FOR YOU, BUT THEN ENEMIES PASTERN SEQUENCE ALLOWS FOR TELEPORTATION IF THE BUG CANT TOUCH YOU, AND YOU GET STUCK WAY TO MUCH TOO MANY MENUS. IF YOU PLAN ON EXPLORING DO NOT BUILD A HOUSE IN A TREE CAUSE YOU WILL HATE THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE TO WAIT 2 MINS TO GO UP AND DOWN IT (THE BLIMP SO SLOW AF) THE AMOUNT OF EFFORT IT TAKES TO WALK ACROSS A MAP TO REGATHER YOUR THINGS ONLY TO ONLY DIE HALF WAY THERE WITH NO EQUIPMENT TO HEAL AND YOUR COMPOSE TO BE CLUTTERED CAUSE AFTER AN HOUR OF GAME-PLAY IT DOESN'T UPDATE... LIKE I LOVE THE GAME AND THE CONCEPT BUT IT ISN'T BALANCED AND ITS A BIT CLUTTERED.

SHOULD HAVE AN OPTION TO SET IT TO BE SOULS LIKE OR ZELDA BOTW LIKE. IMHO I THINK JUMPING, LIGHT ATTACK, BOW HOLD SHOULD NOT BE AFFECTED BUY YOUR STAMINA

CLIMBING:
TOO MANY TIMES CAN YOU BE JUST OUT OF REACH FROM A GRAVESTONE CAUSE THE BUILDING CANT REACH DUE TO A LACK OF FOUNDATION,

HEAL OVERTIME-> BETTER HEAL
THE SIMPLE FIBER HEALS ARE REALLY SLOW WITH THE ANIMATIONS TO THE POINT THAT YOU HAVE TO STRATEGICALLY RUN AWAY TO HEAL, BUT SINCE THE BIG BUGS ARE TO CLOSE TOGETHER YOU END UP GETTING KILLED BY A BUG. THERE SHOULD BE A THING LIKE COMBINE RASPBERRY AND BLACKBERRY TO MAKE A POTION OF HEALING WITH INSTANT HEALS. NOW YES THERE IS THE HONEY BANDAGE HOW EVER IF YOU ARE PLAYING IN MULTIPLAYER AND YOUR ARE SET TO THE TASK OF GATHERING HONEY YOU WOULD END UP USING HALF OF IT ON YOURSELF BEFORE YOU COULD GIVE ANY TO OTHER PLAYERS. I GUESS I AM SAYING THERE NEEDS TO AN EFFICIENT WAY TO HEALING.

MENUS...:
THERE ARE TOO MANY, AND IT DOESN'T HELP THAT YOU CANT ACCESS ANY OF THEM IF YOU ARE BEING CHASED. TO MAKE A RE-SPAWN POINT, YOU NEED TO DO THE FOLLOWING: G CRAFTING, BUILD HAMMER, TAB TO MOVE HAMMER TO HOT BAR, HOT BAR KEY TO EQUIP HAMMER, RIGHT CLICK, NAVIGATE TO INTRACTABLE, CLICK BED, FIND FLAT SURFACE AND LEFT CLICK TO PLACE, THEN F TO APPLY SPAWN. ..... DOING THAT ON 2HP TRYING TO RUN FROM 2 WASPS A DRAGONFLY, GECKO AND A COCKROACH IS NOT POSSIBLE.

FOUNDATIONS....
PLEASE MAKE IT SO YOU CAN STACK THEM, OR HAVE A VERTICAL FOUNDATION ALLOWING YOU TO BUILD STAIRWAYS UP, BRIDGES OVER WATER. ALSO STAIRS NEED TO BE ABLE TO GO DOWN NOT JUST UP.

PETS:
IS THERE A WAY TO HEAL YOUR PETS? LADYBUGS DIE WAY TO FAST AND IF THEY ARE YO BE YOUR MULE YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BABY SIT IT?

NOW DON'T GET ME WRONG I LIKE THIS GAME, AND I GET THAT THERE IS SUPPOSED TO BE A CHALLENGE TO SURVIVE, BUT THERE IS A DIFFERENCE FROM A LACK OF SKILL AND LACK OF BALANCE TO MECHANICS. WHEN PLAYING IT DID NOT FEEL REWARDING, THE MORE I PLAYED THE MORE IT BECAME A CHORE.

DO I HAVE ENOUGH RESOURCES TO BUILD A BED? REPAIR MY GEAR? WORKBENCH? FOOD? BUY ARMOUR? WAIT MY INVENTORY IS FULL AND I HAVEN'T EVEN LEFT TO GO RESOURCE GATHERING.

LADYBUG ( DIDN'T BOTHER TAMING ANYTHING ELSE)
WHAT IF THE LADY BUGS (WHICH WHEN TAMED FLEX THEIR WINGS) IF TAMED HAD THE OPTION TO BE SENT BACK TO A TREE BASE, MAYBE COPY FROM ARK WHERE IF YOU PUT FOOD IT HEALS FASTER AND ON ITS OWN, OR WHAT ABOUT IF IT GETS TO LOW IT FLEAS TO BASE AND ONCE ITS CURED AND HEALED IT WOULD RESPOND TO YOU WHISTLES CALL. IF THE PET TAKES SO MUCH EFFORT TO TAME AND KEEP IT ALIVE FOR IT TO ONLY GET STUCK ON A LEAF CAUSE THE PATH FINDING IS BORKED AND ITS BEING CHASED BUT TWO BULANTS AND A BEETLE, ITS NOT WORTH TAMING OR ATTEMPTING THE OTHER ANIMALS, CAUSE THE COMON PLAYER IS GONNA UNDERESTIMATE THE VALUE OF THE OTHER CRITTERS AND JUST NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THE HASSLE.

FAST TRAVEL:
SO WE ESTABLISHED THE SMALL FOLK HAVE BLIMPS AND MAGIC. OK SO WHAT IF YOU CLAIM A TREE. YOU GET A BLIMP RIGHT? WELL WHAT IF THAT IS ADDED TO YOUR MAP AS A MARKER LOCATION. AND EVERY SMALL-FOLK LOCATION AND TREE IS FAST TRAVABLE THROUGH THE BLIMPS. TO UNLOCK THEM YOU WOULD FIRST HAVE TO UNLOCK THE LOCATION BY TRAVELING TO THE LOCATION, THEN DO THE TREE CHALLENGE. THEN TO UNLOCK THE FAST TRAVEL OF THAT LOCATION YOU WOULD NEED TO DO A SIDE QUEST. LIKE TREE BUTLER FOR THE ELDER WANTS YOU TO BRING THEM A BUG GUT STEW. TEACHING YOU TO USE THE CAMPFIRE. OR LIKE A BUTLER WANTS GECKO HIDE LEATHER. THAT WOULD ALLOW YOU TO GO ACROSS THE MAP EFFECIENTLY, TEACH GAME-PLAY, WORLD BUILDING, AND FEEL REWARDING. PLUS IF A NEW PLAYER IS TO JOIN THE SAVE THEY DONT SPAWN NEAR YOU SO YOU HAVE TO DO A RESCUE PARTY SLOWING DOWN THE WHOLE GAME-PLAY. WERE AS IF YOU COULD RETURN TO SPAWN THROUGH THE BLIMP YOU CAN HELP THE NEW PLAYER LEARN TO UNLOCK THE BLIMP AND THEN TRAVEL ON FOOT TO BASE SO THEY CAN GET A HANG OF THE GAME. AND LETS SAY YOU MAKE AN ECONOMY IN THE GAME LIKE "Rufous" THAT YOU CAN GET FOR DOING TASKS AND OR SELLING AT THE TOWNS/OUT POSTS AND IT WOULD COST YOU RUFOUS EACH TIME TO TRAVEL VIA BLIMPS


WINTER,
MOST OF THE CREATURES AND PLANTS THAT ARE IN THE OVER-WOLRD IN WINTER SHOULD BE HIBERNATING OR DEAD. THIS COULD ALLOW FOR OTHER CRITTERS TO MAKE APPEARANCE. OR BETTER YET YOU COULD USE WINTER AS A RESOURCE GATHERING TIME FRAME SO YOU CAN PREP FOR THE BUGS RETURN IN SPRING. MAKE WHAT BUGS DO SPAWN BE SLOWER DUE TO IT BEING COLD SO YOU THE MORE ADVANCED SMALL-FOLK CAN OUTRUN CAUSE YOU CAN KEEP WARM. GRAB WOOD, FIBER, BARK, STONE, RUFOUS' AND SCOUT POTENTIAL AREAS, DO SIDE QUESTS OR STORY.
