A fantastic mystery, unfortunately a bit muddied by the ending. Would easily recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good mystery.


Though god help you if you accidentally miss a key and don't know where it would be, prepare for *an hour* of wandering around seeing if you missed something.

6 hours in, games running well enough for the stupid resolution I'm running it at(5120x1440), haven't encountered any notable bugs so far, and I'm definitely enjoying my time with it

Well the 1.0 release sure is one of the releases of all time. In gaining a few new maps, we lost the alternative mission types per map which definitely hurts the replayability. The suspect AI feels like it was reverted back to the December 2021 EA release, where a suspect will just 180 insta-headshot you on a whim and pepper balls just don't work on some maps. The player customization is great! Unless you play multiplayer, where it's bugged out to (usually) set all players to the look of the host. Honestly I wish there was a third option for the rating on the review because it's just been very mixed experience for me.

While I like the game, I cannot recommend anyone spends money for the supporter edition, the benefits it gives you are not really worth it, regardless of if you feel like you want to support the devs by giving them more money. The first expansion is obviously far off currently, the soundtrack is going to be a thing I suppose, the unique gear doesn't really stand out in any way in terms of value, then the big thing they advertise, the Experimental Supporter Branch goes completely unused until a week and a half before the update goes live on the public branch. After the last content update was now eight months ago, I honestly wish I could refund this and just buy two more copies of the game for friends instead, because at least then I would've gotten some value out of the money I spent.

Right now I can confirm the performance issues that some mentioned prior to release, with a 15 part plane at 1440p, medium settings, with a Ryzen 9 5900X and RTX 3080, the game couldn't even hold 40 FPS stable, it was constantly dipping below into the low 30s, I'm happy to see that the game works, but until performance improvements happen I dread to think what a 30-70 part rocket would do.
