Toxic Community with terrible twitch streamer emotes that get spammed everytime anything happens. Control schemes on controller and PC make the game more difficult than it needs to be and make the game frustrating to play. You can't make you're character good with good combos and knowledge, some characters are simply better than others. Voice acting annoys me for some reason. If this game didn't have and anime style no one would care about it.
In short:
1. Remove emotes and anything to do with streamers
2. Fix controls to be more comfortable and more intuitive
3. Balance characters
4. Make gameplay faster
5. More coherent comboing of skills and abilities

First off the game is NOT perfect, but it is FUN. If you are a JOJO fan 100% get this game EVENTUALLY. The "All-Star Mode" is the story mode with 3-4 fights and than a boss fight. Each fight has different challenges and rules that effect the match, this is also where you get most of you're cosmetics, solid game mode and pretty fun to go through. There is also an arcade mode where there is a challenge mode and an endless mode, if you are familiar with fighting games at all you know what these are. The versus mode is the simple you vs a PC or a PC vs PC at varying difficulty. Than the Online... if you want to play matches with you're friends and have fun its great. If you are looking for a competitive fighting platform, this is not it. When trying to connect to a ranked match you will have a 1/5 chance that you will simply not connect, than once you do find a game you're opponent can reject you, once you find an opponent there is one of two things that happens they spam projectiles or they spam lights... no in between. The combat controls are not technical enough to warrant competitive game-play and finding someone online is not worth the frustration compared to the time it takes.

if you put forth as much effort into this game as you do exercise you may be able to be an actual fighter.
I'm not counting frames to try to be subpar at this game.
I wish i could give this game a neutral review.

the game is simply not that fun. Hit boxes are wack, movement feels incredibly floaty and delayed. Attacks feel so inconsistent. The choice of characters is interesting but not enough for me to care about playing more. Another thing to add is the gamemodes, 1v1, 2v2, and 4 player ffa, thats it, and the ffa mode requires you to have exactly 4 people so if you are playing with 2 friends, there has to be a bot.

Notes: Fix game modes, fix hit boxes, add more interesting characters, make movement feel more solid. Than i think you may have a solid game.

Great city builder.

Both the farming and side-scrolling gameplay get very repetitive very fast. Farming i found unnecessarily tedious and frustrating to work with the camera, while the side-scrolling was clunky and simply put... boring. The story seemed fairly interesting but not interesting enough for me to continue to deal with not liking most all of the characters and the very short, boring gameplay loop.
