Genuinely a nice game. Not what you'll want if you're looking for the tightest, most responsive fighting game out there but a great game to goof around with friends.

Fun rhythm game and rougelike, but the monk character is just not fun.

While I'm usually not a fan of things that advertise themselves as "super-challenging," I gave this game's Death Wish mode a chance. As I expected, being a self-proclaimed "guy who is bad at video games," I had a lot of trouble on it. After finally getting fed up with the first level, I broke and finally tried the "Peace and Tranquility" mode. Unlike the content-locking and/or talking down I expected from a game mode that featured a character taunting during most of the level, I was instead suprised by a positive message: "No one is around to help. Life is hard, life is stressful. I need peace and tranquility. I don't have to prove myself to anyone."

Ever wanted to shoot rainbows on a unicorn? You can do that. Wanted to kill Clutulu's eye, brain, or brother(?)? You can do that. Wanted to defeat an aincent golem with a yo-yo? You can do that. Wanted to go to space? Sorry, there's only the upper atmosphere.
