I used to play The Culling quite a lot back in the day. It had amazing diversity as far as builds go. One of my favourites was the early knife build, where you would build stamina recovery and damage increase while wielding a knife, chase and absolutely destroy everyone you saw in the early game. Or the late game crippling build, where you would build stamina drain on hit and damage increase while wielding a sledge, get a tier 4 sledgehammer and oh lord the poor souls that got in your way.

Back then, you had to hunt the airdrops in-game by participating in the events, that brought massacre to the area they were held in or by stealing someone else's drop. Aqquiring an airdrop that you didn't already have, would add it to your arsenal which gave the game a real sense of progression.

Unfortunately, everything went wrong when the developers decided to cater to younger audience in hopes of milking more money. Almost all of the perks that made this game so diverse and enjoyable were deleted, all the airdrops, including new ones were unlocked on every old and new character and the combat mechanics, which was one of the strongest parts of the game, is an absolute joke now. You will not find a match in this game, don't even bother. This game had huge potential, sadly, the developers let their greediness get the best of them.

I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND you buy this game at any price.

Just turn off the lights, crank your volume up and immerse yourself into the world of metro. This is easily one of the best story-driven games I have ever played. Also I would highly recommend playing on survival hardcore ranger difficulty for best experience.

It takes far too long to jump into the game. They make you wait 3 minutes after all the players are connected before starting the game. It's quite stupid.

The idea was truly amazing. It is very exciting to have a bunch of notifications on your screen, check all the playbacks of players trying to loot your castle and fail. Or succeed. It makes the whole process of improving your castle very entertaining. But the truth is, there's no place for improvement in the end game. Unless you open your wallet to ubisoft. All the most powerful traps, monsters, weapons and gear are only obtained by paying money. After a while, raiding high level castles becomes impossible. It's not even a case of putting a lot of hours into a game for a chance to obtain some powerful items or monsters for your castle. No money, no honey. It really ruins the whole experience and what could have been an amazing game. And the community literally died a long time ago. Big dissapointment.

Terraria is one of those games you will have an itch to play again even if it's been years. In this game there's truly no bounds for your creativity and inginuity, and there's ALWAYS something to do and something to learn in this game, I'm 360 hours deep and still hunting for the last achievement. Terraria is a masterpiece. Even if you dislike the game, you must appreciate the love and the effort that was put into this game.
