Very fun game, that takes some think-in to play. Definitely worth the price, I would honestly have paid $30 for it. Simple game-play loop but not a lot of instruction/description. has coop and multiple levels (have yet to try). it also has a lot of user friendly additions like a timer for the research reset upgrade, and very helpful notifications for them. Screen doesn't stay clogged unless enemies are on it. You can get lost in the game kinda like you can in factorio, 9/10. (also the game has some funny achievements and references)

Horrible quests like the cattle thief quests. they throw you into the town at midnight to fight bandits on your own because why would you ever take troops to fight bandits, and they also spawn the bandits in front and behind you because logic. When you get killed in a battle your troops retreat. This is worse than mods for the original game. Dont buy.

My experience with the game so far has been very bad. I reported a bug in the campaign where when you beat the aztec temple mission, it doesnt complete, just boots you to the main screen. then not even 5 min after that bug, I find another one where the native tribes wont kill the sheep to harvest them. Between the bugs, piss poor AI, and horrible unit movement mechanics, you are better off buying the original game.

I have played 24 more hours. still crap. Matchmaking broke even more since day 1.

It is a pretty fun game, until you get 2 hours into a siege, using your archers to slowly take out the enemy artillery and defensive works, lose a level 5 horse unit, then your game crashes and everything that was lost, stays lost. All damage to the castle gets undone, all resources you used are gone, everything you invested into it vanish and you have to restart from the beginning. Don't play it.

This game was very fun, everything looked semi realistic (not plastic, not shiny metal) The helicopters had weight to them and your sensitivity reflected that, the ground (while kinda barren and 2D ish) Didn't make your game lag, and felt fine to look at. There were pretty of things that we wanted added and changed and that could be fixed, but what the ♥♥♥♥. I opened the game, excited to experience the next big step in Heliborne. Little did I know that the only step they took, was backwards. I get in and the first thing I noticed was the UI got reworked, Which i was excited about, The Mode select scene looked new and refreshing, and it was off to a good start! Next I went to the Squadron menu and... every squad I had spent time on creating was... gone! I wrote it off as "A Casualty of Progress" and continued on to the tech tree, which while looking different felt the same, besides to helicopters with no background in the USA tree, and they both looked really underwhelming for new helicopters. That all was forgivable. I finally launched into the game after making a new squad and OH BOY! Everything was FUBAR! The helicopters lacked weight that they had before, everything looked like it was straight out of the Green Army men packets, and I couldn't move 1 inch without it lagging, and that is on a TIER 1 MAP! They killed one of my favorite chill games. I will always look to the old version and know for a fact, without a doubt in my mind, that it was 10000% better than what they gave us. Do not buy this game until MAJOR reworks are done to make it:
1 Comfy to look at and use the menus
2 It stops looking like ♥♥♥♥♥♥ wallpaper or plastic
3 They add in new and meaningful content
4 they fix the way helicopters feel. If I am flying a school bus, I want it to feel that way
5 And finally, they fix the lag and make it to where I can at least land a helicopter with 60 fps

This is a good game for the first hour or 2, but then the lack of polish/complex features really starts to show. There is no way to set certain tasks to be done sooner than others (besides the prioritize button) which become useless when your workers decide to carry stuff instead of do any of the prioritized tasks. I've run into problems where my biologists don't do their job anymore and the base just starves. The options for the game are VERY limited, no cursor lock if you have other monitors which is my main issue with the settings. This game would be greatly improved if it had a way to either assign people to do certain jobs (so you can have 2 miners and one guy making metal or however you would like) Without this you just have to sit and wait for any progress to be made and it gets boring having to wait because of the AI not doing it's job or waiting for the resources. This has a solid early game experience but if you are looking for a game where you want to last a long time then I don't recommend it. It feels like in the late game the AI are working against you not for you.

Ostriv is good for its current state. It has a kinda steep learning curve if you are new to this type of game, But I enjoy it a lot! I have not encountered any major bugs yet but i am aware of a few from a couple guides. It is a little much $ wise but it has a lot of potential! I hope and pray this game wont turn out like Timber and Stone because I really love this game so far

The game is ok, BUT the devs dont know how to make a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ uninstall launcher. They dont give you any uninstall options that are simple. Dont download this game just to try it, hell id say dont download it at all.

This game is a good, but hard survival game. With the launch of the story mode I was more excited than ever. The story mode is fun but Some of the victory conditions are hard. I would love to see a change in the future that makes it to where you only have to complete one or two conditions to win and can choose if you want such a little time limit. Overall the survival mode is great but the story mode is unfair at points. I thought it would be a little more relaxed but I was wrong. I think the game is worth a buy though!
