Sea of Stars has quickly become one of my favorite games of all time. It has all the elements of an amazing retro RPG, yet feels like a modern game.
- The graphics, a mix of pixel art with dynamic lighting, are simply stunning.
- The music, with its many variations played on different instruments, is amazing and catchy in all the right moments.
- The story starts off simple, but quickly hooked me and surprised me again and again. I could not stop playing.
- The characters, including side characters, are easy to love, all feel relevant to the story, and often unique in their design.
- The combat feels good and engaging throughout the whole game, with just the right amount of unique bosses and mechanics to keep it fresh without feeling too gimmicky.
- The world never feels small, yet never feels too big to explore and look for secrets.

This game is heavily inspired by all the great classic RPGs and is certainly a nostalgia trip, but it's also its own unique experience that reminded me of everything I love about video games. It's a really well polished and complete game where I feel like no aspect has been neglected.

I can't find anything bad to say about Sea of Stars. I don't feel like any part of the game could have been done better, and I don't remember the last time I felt that way about a game. Sabotage Studio did something truly amazing here.

One of my favorite arcade-like game. Ever. I seriously spend hours playing this game.

The visuals are simple, but awesome. The chiptune music by Chipzel is great, and that voice, oh that voice. There's a voice that just says a couple things like "Begin" when you start the game or other stuff like "Triangle" when you reach a certain number of seconds. Just makes you want to keep going.
