Even in fact that you can play this game by yourself (alone), its better to play with friends. Crazy guns, atmospheric soundtrack with an insane but memorable characters will bring a lot of hours of fun!

Dead Space is probably one of the best survival horror games that you could play. Instead of sending millions annoying and stupid jumpscares, that would any generic horror game do, Dead Space would build up the tension by the the creepy ambience and then suddenly send you a necromoprh somewhere that you would never expect.
In this game shooting the necromoprh's head wouldn't kill it instantly, even tho, you will make them angrier. Instead of that, you should shoot their limbs to deal more damage. Game will four time remind you about, because how important it is. Also important in this game is exploring the ship. You can find some resources such as money, ammo, power nodes and schematics. However mostly of them are located in most darkest and creepiest places, which encourages player to explore ship to find some goodies. Since this is a survival games, collecting ammo and health packs very essential and important. With collected money or credits, you can buy ammo, healthpacks, weapons and unlock new tools and suit upgrades. One bad thing in this game, is bad PC port. You will have some problems with that, especially with Vsync. Turned off Vsync will remove FPS Lock, but it would ♥♥♥♥ up the engine which will make some places unbeatable and unreachable and ragdolls will randomly flying around. Turning on Vsync will fix all this problems but your FPS will be locked on 30 fps which is sucks. Anyway you can find videos to fix that.
Even with a bad PC port, this game is amazing horror survival game that will make you not to sleep for several days :)

In fact, that this free game doesn't force you with microtransactions (which is only cosmetical and not giving any advantages to players), having constant updates and patches, with new guns, maps, and vehicle and its all done for 5 years by one person and community, make this game one of the best free-to-play games ever.

Very Challenging But Fun To Play!

This game was so beautiful and magnificent for 12 years old me. And it still looks amazing. Characters, Soundtrack, Puzzles, AI, Graphics and Physics , that all still looks amazing for a 2004 game. Also game always changes gameplay, giving you a transport, new guns, new methods to fight with enemies and more.
Conclusion:
If you have 10 bucks, buy this game, it's a legendary game and you shouldn't miss it.

Perhaps you will love this game if you like to strain your eyeballs and in such a state that they will soon fly out of your skull and scream out after death: "WHERE I GOT THE SHOT FROM?"
