New Vegas is a proper Fallout game. The lore's there and the story is rich and diverse, with many different endings, albeit missing a proper post-game feature like Fallout 3 did.

Obsidian, ever the company that is rushed into releasing their products, also unfortunately did not have enough time to properly playtest this game, and thus, expect a lot of bugs, some of them quite annoying. Game's a bit crashy as well. Thankfully, we're blessed with mod support, and they fix many of the issues present.

Gameplay's slightly better but never look at this game as a proper FPS, because the engine was never adequate for it. Do expect hundreds of hours, because although it is set in a desert, you'd be surprised at the amount of locations it has.

The DLC can be a bit hit and miss. Gun Runners Arsenal adds a few fun weapons but nothing mandatory. Dead Money had great plot, but terrible gameplay. Old World Blues was pretty funny, but had a few bugs and at times I thought they were trying too hard. Lonesome Road was linear but pretty tight, with great pacing and story. Honest Hearts was probably the weakest, because Zion and its denizens didn't really interest me, except for one character. Not saying who it is, but if you've played it you'll know who I'm talking about.

New Vegas is an RPG through and through. The characters are original and engaging, especially the possible companions you can have, their personality trump anything Fallout 3's companions could offer. The choices you make impact the game and nothing is ever black and white in this world. I recommend it to everyone in a heartbeat. Games like these are few and far between.

Really short and basic game. Got it for free. Fun challenge trying to get the achievements. Think Puzzle Bobble, but with two cannons, one on each side, two targets, and an automatic fan that allows you to direct your shot using precise timing.

Still, can't recommend it. It doesn't even give an hour of gameplay. Better games can be found on free flash game websites.

I'll idle it and get the cards. Then uninstall it.

Don't let the graphics dismay you. It's free and it lasts about 5 minutes. It does have a very intriguing twist at the end, which made everything worth it. Try it out.

Grand Theft Auto V's a bunch of fun. The singleplayer campaign, while not as well written as other entries in the series (GTA IV, Ballad of Gay Tony) still manages to be enjoyable in spades.

The three protagonist gimmick is pretty innovative, since it gives each one a bit of personality as you switch to each one in seamless gameplay, as they have their own sordid little habits and lifestyle when you're not directly controlling them. They aren't that particularly engaging though. By diluting their focus onto three protagonists instead of just one, it felt as though their stories couldn't really be fully fleshed out. That and the overwhelming amount of antagonists, again, kept the focus not as precise as it should have been. It was so all over the place that I've already kind of forgotten what it was all about.

Trevor's the psycho, Michael's the retired crook, and Franklin's... a ghetto gangster with higher ambitions. Each have different "special powers" and attributes they're better or worse at (though you can max these all out with repeated use, a la San Andreas).

Strength of the singleplayer campaign did lie in the Heist missions though. You get to pick your crew, some of these may even include characters from previous games, your approach to said heist, all to bring home a huge amount of money, which is otherwise kind of hard to come by, at least in the amounts the heists provide.

There's plenty to do outside of the story though, more than what GTA IV can say for itself, at least. Triathlons, races, both on the sea and land, drug trafficking, parachuting, and more. GTA's brand of satire remains strong here, with TV programs, talk shows, missions, internet ads through your smartphone and cutscenes all showing ridicule at its extreme, without it going overboard like the Saints Row series has, though it does have its moments. It's certainly not as crazy as San Andreas, but not completely gritty or realistic as IV. It's found a nice balance. I'm alright with going after 100% in this game, and I'm still quite a ways off getting that.

The radio music is pretty good, and I listen to a lot of tracks outside of the game nowadays. Not as good as Vice City's soundtrack, but then again, that's hard to beat. The stations have variety and they're appropriate to the setting the game takes place in.

The online mode I've only played a little of. I'm aware of the huge rampant hacker problem, and of the lack of support Rockstar gives to PC in general, which is nothing new, but I've barely found a lot of problems with the online mode. I found it enjoyable and I'll probably get back to it now and then.

Definitely worth the discount price I bought it for. It's a GTA game. It's what you expect. More like Ballad of Gay Tony, less like IV. Both have their strengths and weaknesses, and I'm alright with both, but I do prefer laughing my ass off regularly like TBoGT and V made me laugh. Get it if you haven't played the singleplayer yet, otherwise wait for a deep discount for the online mode. Really.

As much as I enjoy Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire, I can't, in good conscience, recommend Telltale's take on the franchise. Mainly because I find it to be an unfinished product with an unsatisfying conclusion with a cliffhanger.

The illusion of choice you're given in these games was, unfortunately, to be expected. Wanting wildly different branching paths that reward multiple playthroughs is apparently a utopic wish, because the game has a set linear path in the end, and as much as Telltale may want you to think otherwise, the game doesn't offer different experiences with different choices.

Sure, you'll get a different response and some minor changes may occur, but in the end, things are still going to stay the same. I honestly think that Telltale should at the very least advertise the game the way it truly is: a linear story with a few ultimately meaningless choices set in a rich universe with some good characters and twists, but incomplete.

Having some famous TV characters show up in the game was a neat touch, but knowing that the game is set in HBO's Seasons 3 and 4, with the show having finished Season 5 with 6 coming in a few months, people who have watched the series will undoubtedly realize that some of these characters have literal plot armor, which further diminishes your "choice" in the matter when dealing with them.

The finale didn't feel like a finale, it felt like the prelude to the actual finale. Instead, we're told we have to wait for Season 2. I'm okay with having a few loose ends to keep the story going after the season's story arc's over and done with, but that's the problem, it never felt resolved.

And I know Telltale can do better. The Walking Dead's Season 1 was perfect, you had both closure, and loose ends that allowed the story to carry onto Season 2. Game of Thrones simply has you waiting for Season 2 to find the closure you should have had in Season 1, and that I can't accept.

Why does this game exist?

I mean, never mind the fact that the developer clearly doesn't own the rights to depict Gerard Butler as King Leonidas in 300 as his main character.

Never mind the fact that their so called "levels" never change, just the variety of enemies that can spawn.

Never mind that the game is indeed, shovelware trash imported from mobile platforms.

Do mind that the difficulty spikes up to a point that either requires you to pay up some cash in microtransactions, or simply suffer through the game in order to get through the couple hardest levels in the game. Yeah, I typed couple.

Once you unlock the the "I Win" powerup known as the Boulder, you're set. Really. I guess I don't need to spend my hard-earned money after all! (why would you even pay for this i don't even)

Anyway, just use said boulder at the start of the level, and it'll wreck the "portal" that allows these foul spawns of darkness to flow in. Supposedly. I mean the enemies themselves are clearly coming out of a cave that is behind said portal, but I'm no Gerard Butler! I wasn't there when the spartans came up with their secret weapon, knights clad in medieval-era armor to fight off the Persia-I mean zombies.

Man the 300 franchise did go in a different crazy route OHWAIT THEY DON'T OWN THE RIGHTS IN THE FIRST PLACE. Yet they're charging for it.

The game cheats by the way. Even with pretty much every upgrade you can think of, good luck surviving the 10 minute challenge unless you have a bazillion boulders. Then just spam that the whole time. Yeah, even if you were brain-addled enough to pay for this, the game wouldn't really get easier anyway.

I guess enjoy it while it lasts? I think it'll get removed from Steam at some point, so keep it installed if you'd like to experience the zombie apocalypse in make-believe Sparta.

So to recap: Not only did they make a terrible game, they forgot to adapt it to the PC, with leftovers such as "press the touch screen!", their microtransaction system doesn't really give you an edge, and in their first version didn't even work properly, so you couldn't even pay them if you wanted to (so the Pay2Win model fails there too), they are a lawsuit in the making, and they have King Leonidas. From 300. Yeah.

Why does this game exist?

Now this here is some old-school RPG goodness brought back to modern systems in a quick and easy package in the Enhanced Edition. Adding widescreen support, new characters and locations, it still remains the classic adventure as it ever was.

If you haven't noticed yet, this game, it's old, don't expect any shiny graphics or groundbreaking gameplay. Give it a chance though, it has tons of content, it retains its charm and the challenge that a lot of mainstream games nowadays simply do not provide. Many characters with their own alignments can be found to form wildly different parties, giving it replayability, and the multitude of sidequests and locations pretty much make it guaranteed that you won't get to see it all in one go.

The plot itself is alright, but maybe that's because I played the sequel first so I was already aware of the plot twists. I strongly recommend you start with this game before moving on to BG2, if you've never touched them, you're in for a treat. Especially since you can import your BG1 character into BG2, giving it a sense of continuity. You don't get to experience the sequel differently like the Mass Effect series kind of does if you do import your character, but the stats, name, etc, do carry over.

It's amongst my favorites due to the link it shares with BG2. I like BG1, but BG2 just blows it out of the water, making the original a mandatory playthrough. Get it.

There's really not much to say about Uriel's Chasm. It tries to parody unlicensed Bible games back in the day but it makes even those look like timeless classics in comparison. It's that atrocious.

Featuring confusing gameplay over 4 levels where it apparently can't decide what kind of game it wants to be, unskippable horrible "live-action" cutscenes that are just cringeworthy, and a final boss fight that tries too hard to be Ikaruga, except with a song of a thousand banshees singing in unison.

Look, just launch this abomination for an hour, get your Steam trading cards, and uninstall it. This belongs in Newgrounds, not Steam.

This game is phenomenal and powerful. Very few games take into account the consequence of your actions as seriously as The Walking Dead does. It is quite a bleak experience, don't expect things to be sugarcoated here, the walker threat is real and its impact is felt throughout the whole game.

The voice acting is top notch, which is a good thing, since this game is entirely plot driven. The characters are all great, you're meant to love some, hate some, and be somewhere in the middle of the road with others. Everyone has their own shades of gray, and the game really sends home the message that morality is secondary when you're purely dealing with survival. Every choice has its outcome, and its advantage along with its disavantage. It's worth replaying just to see how different it can be simply due to the most minor of decisions that you may have taken. It will make you remember each and every "yes" and "no" you have given, whether you like it or not, and you'll feel the full weight of the hard decisions you'll have to do due to circumstances that are, at times, unavoidable, so tread carefully.

It is a point and click adventure, yes, but not one that gives you obscure clues like some games of this genre do. I personally do not have much experience with point and clicks, and while at first I thought I'd have trouble navigating through it, or even being stuck, I did just fine. It has its quick-time event moments when things get more hectic, and I found it fit the game perfectly.

This game was again, a powerful, emotional, and unforgettable rollercoaster ride. It also brings out the dad in you and I'll just leave it at that. I need to play Season 2. The Walking Dead belongs in everyone's favorite game list, and I urge you to play this if you haven't yet. You won't come out unchanged.
