Going from 1500 hours with every character to 5 hours and no characters is a punch in the gut. GIVE ME CROSS PROGRESSION NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Main Game Review:
I love the idea of a spider-man that is 8 years into being a superhero and i think it was a great way to introduce a new spider-man without the overdone origin story of Uncle Ben dying, even without seeing him in game we still feel his message and presence of "Great Power, Great Responsibility" throughout the whole game. Yes, this game does make you feel like Spider-Man, but not just with the swinging and fighting, but also with the relatable story of a guy struggling to pay rent, get to his job on time and flustered over his ex, while also yes being the not so relatable superhero Spider-Man. Speaking of the swinging, i think its gorgeous, it looks amazing to be swinging around the city even though it may not feel like you can make mistakes while swinging as when you crash into a building or a wall you just start wall running. But with that aside, i love the web swinging, its a vital part of my favourite boss battle and a reason why it is my favourite boss battle which is the Vulture and Electro battle, I really like how you are in the air 99% of the time web swinging dodging Electro's volts while also shooting Vulture's projectiles back at him. However a fight which also incorporated web swinging but in a much worse way was the Rhino and Scorpion fight, I understand that most people would not want a fight that is similar to the Electro and Vulture fight but I feel as if they did not include web swinging in the best way in the Rhino and Scorpion fight, i think a more enclosed fight where Rhino is charging at you, perhaps inside an Oscorp Relief Centre, where you have to avoid Rhino while Scorpion is waiting for you on the other side to shoot his venom at you would work much better, it would bring the fear factor into the game that was sorta there with Scorpion's hallucination sequence. Moving on, i feel as though this is probably the worst boss in the game as many of the other fights are alot more engaging and enjoyable in my opinion.

Moving back to the story, I really enjoyed Peter and MJ's dynamic, I loved their development of trusting each other, more Peter trusting MJ in her missions and while yes, she can be a tad annoying at some points, i feel as though it makes sense for her character to be how she is. Miles' also had a good introduction with him being at the Osborn rally and then working at the F.E.A.S.T Shelter where he gets bitten by the Spider, which in my opinion is the most unrealistic part, the spider that MJ made sure was off of her when she was wiping her whole body survived being swung from Oscorp to F.E.A.S.T? However that's the biggest problem with the story for me and I don't really mind it to be honest. Aunt May was just a joy to interact with, her wisdom and kindness did not prepare me for the utter destruction of my soul that was her death. I sobbed even after my second play through. Some other notable characters are Doc Ock which had a great story of someone being lost to despair and although i knew it would eventually happen, it still saddened me to see what became of him at the end of Act 2. As well as Yuri Watanabe, who quickly became a favourite of mine because i really enjoyed her character and progression, even just the banter between her and "Spider-Cop" made me like her even more. Overall the story was amazing with just 1 or 2 problems for me which i can overlook due to the rest of it being spectacular.

The City that never sleeps DLC Review:

Overall the story was enjoyable, part 2 (Turf Wars) being my favourite, I feel as though it was a good mini-adventure with this Spider-Man and a glimpse into his time in between the first game and Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Part 1 was an enjoyable entry into this new adventure with a cliffhanger of Black Cat seemingly dying after walking straight into a trap, part 2 being the best in my opinion with an exploration into Yuri's character which i really enjoyed and part 3 being a satisfying conclusion to the adventure with the return of Silver Sable.

Although i enjoyed the story there were 3 characters i wish were explored even more, and they are the main protagonists of each DLC.

Black Cat: I wish we got an explanation for why she returned to do crime, why she wanted the drives of the Maggia crime families in the first place, and how she survived that massive bomb. Even though we spent an entire part with her I still feel like i dont know why she returned to New York entirely. She got a reveal in part 3 but it was a short amount of time and involved her saving Spidey's life and giving him something to help defeat Hammerhead.

Yuri Watanabe: With her deep connection to the Maggia I wish she was more of an overarching protagonist over all 3 parts rather than just a main character in Part 2, getting a side objective for her in Part 3 was nice but i wish we just got to see more of her since she was so heavily connected to the Maggia with her father being a dirty cop for the Maggia.

Silver Sable: Her being in this Part was great and her sendoff was much better than her sendoff in the main game which is just a call just before the final bossfight. However i still wished we got to see more of her, we learned more about why she returned and her motivations which was nice to learn about and her character got majorly improved. But once again, i just wished we could spend more time with her.

Overall the DLC is great but there are a couple things i would change.
In part 1, Black Cat would be introduced and her story would pretty much be the same, Yuri would also be there after hearing of the return of the Maggia and would make an effort to try and get rid of them before they get too powerful.
In part 2, The first half would go the same, However we would learn that Black Cat survived the bomb and how, we would learn more about why she stole the drives in the first place and she would become another ally as Spidey deals with Yuri slowly going into madness, the final cliffhanger would remain the same, however it would end with Silver Sable arriving in the post credit scene.
In part 3, Silver Sables story would pretty much go the same, however we would have Black Cat as an ally helping us through it, there would be a couple missions involving Yuri as we have to beat her to Hammerhead before she does something she regrets, the final boss battle would remain the same, except we would have Black Cat to help fight off the swarms of enemies while Spidey goes for Hammerhead, In the end we would defeat Hammerhead but before being able to take him to prison Yuri would arrive, and end up killing him, and going on the run.
I think this revamped story would work better for each of the characters listed above and make the player care even more for them.

Anyway that was my review for Spider-Man Remastered. This is only my third review so if anyone has any tips for me to improve my future reviews i would appreciate it.

Leon is so incredibly attractive I only got this game for Leon S Kennedy and I was NOT dissapointed. The game play is good but i spend so much time staring at Leon that i don't pay attention to it because i'm too busy staring at Leon S Kennedy. I don't know much about the side characters because i'm spending too much time staring at Leon S Kennedy. I love Leon S Kennedy so much that i will literally die for this man I am on my knees whenever i play this and it is a surprise i made it past chapter 1 due to how much attention i paid to this man.

Overall 10000000000000/10 bought for Leon S Kennedy, stayed for Leon S Kennedy, will leave with Leon S Kennedy.
