Back when the Beta was about to come out, I happened to be working for Amazon. One day, I went in to work and lo and behold, Mister Jeff Bezos was visiting our new facility. Awestruck, I remembered New World (based on Bezos' own adventures slaying indigenous populations for his future Amazon Towns (tm) and for fun), and gathered the courage to approach Sir Bezos. "I was wondering, sir, have you heard of that new game coming out called 'New World'?" Smiling like Cheshire cat, he calmly responded. "Well of course, why do you ask?" Swallowing any hesitation, I blurted, "Would you happen to be able to get me a code, or at the very least some sort of employee discount?" His robotic posture straightened, and he bent down in his Mech Exo-suit (more of a Gundam really) and looked me in the eye, and spat in my face before laughing his rich man laugh. He charged me triple for the game (not sure how they managed to do it, but I digress).
