WARNING: Black Desert Online installs XingCode Anti Cheat Rootkit. This scans files you have opened within 48 hours and is installed without your permission. I am okay with anti-cheat systems, everyone hates cheaters, but you do not get to force install one spy style on me.

With the XingCode out of the way, this game would not even launch for me. I don't mean to brag, but there should be no reason my rig can not load to the start menu. My PC eats games like a fat kid at a buffet, and this was quite frustrating. I cannot comment on graphics, gameplayer, etc, because I never saw anything but the first two title screens.

Just be warned of the XingCode and thank Gaben for Steam refunds now.

This game is a ton of fun with your friends, but the matchmaking is terrible if you are solo playing. Since the player count is so low you usually play people miles above you, which gets kind of old after awhile. Most people will say get better, but you cant really enjoy the game or get better without spending hours in the campaign to understand the maps to a T.

For the price I would get it for you and your friends. It can be a TON of fun in that situation. For solo play, I would suggest really learning the maps after spending hour after hour to perfect it like the people you will encounter in matchmaking.

I'm sure this will get a ton of thumbs down, but it's an honest review of someone who bought this game for casual playing.

Yes, this game has moments where you realize it is early access, but that is what I paid for! For early access this game seems very promising, much more than other games, Dayz *cough cough*

The developers have released numerous patches within 24 hours of release to address major issues, and with a two man team I truly respect them for that. If you are looking for a few great laughs with your mates, a set of dedicated devs, and some epic naval combat, this is the game for you!

Nothing beats the Navy accents and ramming into other ships.

If Battlefield: Bad Company 2 was a presidental canidate, I would vote for it twice.

This game should be a guideline to all future Battlefield titles, but sadly has been forgotten about by the publishers. There is still a healthy community to play with, so if you miss this game, please buy it!

I love the community of ARMA. While there is always that kid who thinks he is actually serving on the front lines, the majority of the players are skillful, tactical, and friendly.

I played ARMA II, but was sadly dissapointed with the optimization, but ARMA III really improved on this. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes to play RPG, military sims, or just enjoys a beautiful paly experience.

Overall, this is not a bad game. I found myself bored with it quickly, but when I do play it, it is very fun and always a different game. It was free when I got it, so if it is still free, give it a shot. I enjoy the base building aspect of it, but it feels like I am shooting a watergun at times, which I cannot stand.

I grew up on this game, and I loved every minute of it. I enjoy the fact you can have a long-term game, but you do not have to finish it in one sitting. You will spend days trying out new ways to manage your empire, and how you will defend your castle. It is a never ending game of pure joy.
