A couple people have asked my why I collect chairs so here it goes- It's hard to explain it's not like I found this type of collectable it's like it found me- it just suits my style I'm into engineering I like to keep things simple plastic chairs are pretty simple and basic in a way and I like to keep things traditional white is the most common, cheapest, and easiest color to make so I like to only have pristine white chairs in my collection.

One of the things that makes them an ideal collectable is that they stack and take up less room not to mention finding most of them in pristine condition is almost imposable so it makes them even more valuable- since most people (other then plastic chair enthusiasts) think they are worthless and junk because they are made of plastic. Also if someone has a chair you've been looking for if you just ask them if you can have it sometimes they say you can just take it (it's how I got the Bistro Chair I had $50 in my pocket for) or they except a reasonable price-

I also love going to junk stores and getting several chairs for my collection for $2 a piece a couple times ones that I would have been willing to go up to $20-$100 to buy off of someone if I had to. I have also come across a couple people that had pristine vintage chairs that would not give the chairs up for anything because they either had significant sentimental value or they just love them that much. This collectable has the potential to be huge someday- materials are getting more expensive less chairs are being made the ones out there are getting worn and chalked and good ones are quickly disappearing forever because people don't realize what they are they buy good ones at yard sales or at junk stores that have been kept indoors for 20-30 years they stick them outside and their ruined by the end of summer.
