Early Access Review
All jokes aside about the addictive nature of many hard drugs, this game, once you get into it, can easily get VERY addictive very quickly. Just like a lot of turn-based 4X games that make you go "just one more turn...", this game on the otherhand, being real time, doesn't have that little barrier that makes you possibly pause of a second and realise that you better not click that "end turn" button and catch some sleep, because there is no such thing.

Apart from the few scenarios that you can play through, the most fun is had in the normal sandbox game. You are stranded on an unfamiliar earth-like planet. Dropped in a randomly generated map filled with various resources and only with a handful of tools you start building up extraction and processing of resources and turn them into useful product to eventually be able to launch a satellite. Before you know it you have big assembly lines set up, making you totally satisfied with yourself. The fun part in this game is setting up these various automated production lines, complete with logic systems if you so desire. This also makes that the game's end-goal is hardly any goal at all. Just like in a city or theme park builder often unlocking the various (service) buildings or attractions is only half the fun.

I received this game as a gift from someone in order to play online together. Because you can load any save game you have or start from scratch and build together! Either you can just build together for the heck of it, or show off each other's builds. Whatever you like to do, it always makes it more fun to do it with other people.

Even at the current state of Early Access development the game has plenty of stuff to keep you busy for MANY many hours and with the added addictive element possibly also until deep in the night, so be warned!
