Ingredients:
140 g dark chocolate
220 g unsalted butter
200 g white sugar
1 tablespoon honey
4 eggs
120 g plain flour
Preparation:
Cut the chocolate in small crumbs. Melt 50 g of the butter, add the chocolate crumbs, and melt the chocolate.
Whisk the butter, add the sugar and the eggs, until you have a smooth mixture. Add the chocolate, mix gently.
Finally sift the flour into the mixture, spoon by spoon, and add to the mixture. Don’t whisk too much.
Put the batter into the form, and bake in the pre-heated oven at 180°C for 30-40 mins.
It’s a simple, but really great recipe, and easy to vary – add a cup of espresso (and a bit more flour then), or add some chopped walnuts, or a hint of cinnamon and cardamon for the christmas version.
