Good game, make 1st person a built in mechanic and it'd be a top 10 open world game for sure.

The fact that the sentence:

"Clark murdered his wife in a psychotic rampage after one of his lungs was harvested during surgery, in order to give said wife a new lung after hers were lethally damaged while an abortion was being performed on her by a vampire with a cybernetic arm."

is something that happened by complete happenstance in this game, is deserving of a reccomendation.

Project Moon continue to be the leading company when it comes to independent indie game developers. Once again, they've gone above and beyond with the usual staples:
* Music
* Characters
* Writing/Storytelling

And can you believe it? It's a very f2p friendly and non predatory gacha. It feels like lunacy (wink) to suggest a gacha could be those things earnestly, but Limbus Company to this day remains the least predatory gacha on the market from my experience. So you are essentially getting the best deal you can, for the best content out there. Again, it sounds like lunacy.

Such is the Project Moon effect I suppose. Blessed be you young feeble nuggets that endeavor to begin your journey in the city here, rather than the prior entries. Your life as a fixer will be cut short, and your experience will certainly be torn asunder with your lack of perspective on what the city has in store for you.

Tread carefully, and remember to treasure the comrades that travel with you. They may seem the rowdy bunch, but we're all Sinners at the end of the day. Should you require the assistance of the Liu Office, feel free to contact us via our code below and we'll be certain to send you a fixer worth their salt.

Yakuza 8 is a game that expands greatly upon it's prior entry, fixing and expanding upon the rpg combat and the available classes available to all characters. It's writing, characters, visuals, and gameplay satisfaction are some of my most enjoyed out of an RPG when it comes to releases within the last 10 or so years. Story cuts, as well as pacing face a number of issues at times. And it leads to small bouts of confusion, or even a sigh from you whilst you sit through a cutscene trying to figure out what's taken place outside of your vision.

But if I'm being honest, I couldn't care less about those problems. In most games, I'd gripe and be upset about them to no end like any other unsatisfied consumer. But when I put over 200 hours into this game, and nearly every moment of it I wore a smile on my face because of Ichiban and his ridiculously hopeful worldview and attitude? Why should small problems cloud my feelings towards the product, I loved this game. I loved every moment of Ichiban forging new bonds with the people of Hawaii, and doing everything in his power to save every last person he's forged a bond with. Because he's lost so much already, that losing anything else. No matter how small, or unforgivable they may seem. Isn't even a consideration in his mind.

It's idealistic, as well as foolish. Much like people enjoy calling Ichiban, but the reality is. If we could all be more forgiving, be more like Ichi with his unwavering hope, optimism and loyalty. I'm almost certain the world would be a better place. But, then again I'm talking in a review of a video game. Not some real life role model and hero. So, rather than continue to spout praise and how much I earnestly loved this game. Let's move on to my rating.

Objectively, the game is a 8.8/10. For it's issues, pacing, and story cuts.

But in my heart, it's a 10/10. The second that I've ever given to a game personally, and I only hope that my time playing Yakuza 8: Infinite Wealth has taught me to treasure the things I do have and do right by those I know so when they need a hand. They're willing to take mine, and come out the other side better for wear by my side.

All things considered, a near perfect remake of a classic. For me the game stands as one of the two 10/10's I've ever given, both for the dedication to bringing the original game to modern players. And the alterations and additions they've made to make the game and story more cohesive. As for specifics, they fixed Ken, Fuuka, and Aigis.

As such, Atlas performed a miracle. If you're a fan of the series, or even JRPG's in general. Reload is a great entry, and a game that if you take the time to settle into it's world and learn about the peers in your journey. You'll find yourself hard-pressed to not be smiling for the majority of your time playing.

All there is to say is... ATLUS IF THE PERSONA 2 RUMORS ARE TRUE, WHICH WOULD BE IRONIC AND FUN CONSIDERING HOW MUCH RUMORS ARE A PART OF P2'S STORY. PLEASE DO IT JUSTICE AS YOU DID FOR P3. CASHGRAB PERSONA 5 FOR ANOTHER 3 YEARS IF THAT'S WHAT IT TAKES!!!
