Early Access Review
Extremely addicting, especially with friends. This is the first game in a very long time that I have been able to play for 8+ hours thinking I was only on for a bit.

There are a decent number of bugs that are present in the game as to be expected with an early access title, some more annoying than others.

Deathsquitos are terrifying.

Sailing can be very spooky with darkness and fog paired with sea serpents.

Overall I definitely recommend this game as long as it keeps getting updated.

Well I feel like I should post a review simply because a bunch of sweaty nerds from Planetside 2 decided to review bomb with hardly any time in the game.

I have played roughly 50 hours plus whatever steam shows between playtesting and the early access release.

While I am not a fan of the BR format of games, I do enjoy Arena, and while that is most likely due to having thousands of hours in Planetside 2, I do have hope for this game.

Now, on to address some of the relevant negative reviews. Yes, this game does have a number of bugs, that is why this is an early access game. Also, the biggest issue I have found is the lack of players, during the game that we had 250 players in a squads match, my squad had constant fights throughout the entire game and it really felt like the Planetside experience, but in the lobbies of sub-100 it really just feels like we are still in the playtesting phase.

Updating my review to remove most of the negative aspects of my previous review. This game is fantastic and the initial reason I got into VR gaming. While I'm not a big fan of music packs costing extra money on top of the initial cost of the game, I understand that the devs need to make money, so I have purchased every music pack that has released, and intend to continue doing so. Modding is still an option, but personally I don't play this often enough anymore to go through the hassle of updating mods and making sure they work with the latest version of the game.

Only survival game that I have enjoyed enough to put nearly 900 hours into, because, dinosaurs. The vanilla game is great, challenging, and customizable if you don't have the insane amount of time for taming. After playing hundreds of hours on official server with a group of friends we got a bit bored. In my boredom, I discovered ARK mods! :) After that, I put hundreds more hours into playing with many of the mods and even hosted my own server for some friends for a few months.

Rockstar has some major hatred for modding, for one, getting temp banned while playing singleplayer a while back was extremely annoying as it doesn't impact anyone else or the game itself. I also don't see a big problem in people modding in multiplayer, it is understandable to be against the modding of money and using mods to kill people, but, if I want to look like an alien and run through the streets or fly through the skies in a car that changes colors without doing anything to anyone else, why can't I?
