As a big paradox fan I was pretty excited for this game, as I had tried CK2 however I had some problems with it, partially with the user interface being a bit out dated and the amount of DLC the game had, which is normal of paradox games but can make it hard to get in if you don't get in when the game first comes out. However I was worried CK3 would have the problem other paradox games have had where it starts off meh and only becomes good through DLC, however I was surprised to find that what is there currently is really great and gives you tons of options. Of course there are things that can be improved through updates and I hope they go with a style similar to Stellaris where updates contain core changes that make the game better while extra things that add mechanics and stuff to the game are in the DLCs, but even so the game is very great right now, giving you tons of possibilities for what you can do in the game currently. From making your own religion to trying to form an empire, there are plenty of things you can try and hopefully DLCs in the future will just add more things and fix the minor problems the game has now.
