The comeback of this game is awesome. I didn't get it at launch but still didn't find it enjoyable. Picked it up again recently and sunk 37 hours into it in the last week. The story and exploration is fantastic, there's so much to do and it's starting to look like a fully fleshed out game.

HOWEVER: CONTROLLER SUPPORT IS AWFUL and flying with mouse and key is horrible. My controller works on every other steam game I own and worked for a while with NMS, but then just stopped working and I haven't been able to fix it yet. I think this is something the devs need to prioritise because there are plenty of people having similar problems. That being said, I can only recommend this game if you have a controller (assuming the devs fix the problem soon)

P.S. joysticks aren't supported either.

TLDR: propeller blades are poorly optimised. Some oversights by the devs that could be patched up later. Robotic parts are generally excellent.

The bad:
If you're looking to make propeller aircraft, this expansion sucks at it. Increasing physics warp beyond 1x makes the blades freak out. The blades seem to have just been chucked in there because it's what people expect, without much care for whether the game supports them or not. If you don't mind sticking to 1x physics warp and so taking years to get anywhere, and can put up with the general bugginess of the blades, no worries.
The deployed science spams you every 10s with a message about sending science. This can be fixed by going into the game's directory and directly editing text files, but why is it this way in the first place?
The rotors that consume fuel absolutely guzzle it at a crazy rate. The game says that they consume 0.2 and 0.8/s, but in game they both actually consume double. This makes them completely unbalanced and unusable.
The good:
Pretty much everything else! I've found really nice uses for the robotic parts. I've made rovers that can change their wheel base to increase stability while driving. I've made articulating docking ports that make docking on the ground more feasible.
The deployed science is an interesting expansion to the game and feels like it justifies bases before you unlock mining tech.
The new parts are generally pretty well made (excluding what I said above) and look great.

Overall, as a long time ksp fan, I'm happy with this update. I would recommend it (on sale of course).
