I purchased this game during the spring sale since it was $30 and the reviews were "Overwhelmingly Positive" I'm sort of a new player in the series? I beat RE7 on my Xbox a while back and absolutely loved the game, so once i saw this on sale and I saw the reviews, i purchased this with no hesitation. I have the original RE4 on my PS2 but i never bothered to play it all the way through, I only got to chapter 3 I believe? Anywho, I wish I had played this game sooner on my PS2 since I still have it. This game is an absolute blast, it has its fair share of puzzles, horror, and combat. The game isn't to difficult to learn and offered me about 16 - 17 hours of playtime (It may be longer or shorter depending on your play style). All in all this is one of the best remakes I've ever played, hands down and I will probably do a second playthrough in the future whenever I'm feeling it. If you're reading the reviews considering getting it, here's all I have to say. If you like your fair share of puzzles, horror, and you love stories, you'll most definitely love this game!

I'd give this game an A+ and I honestly wish i could forget the entire story and play it a second time!

I bought this a while back but never actually played it until recently, from what I can tell its a pretty fun game. I'm still a little bummed that i got it back then when it was $20 and now its free on the epic store, but I honestly don't mind all to much. I did play this on my PS4 back then as well, and I did like that you could unlock the skins for free by playing matches, and that was the currency. Other then that, I think its a pretty cool game :)

FIX AT BOTTOM OF REVIEW!!

I just got this game gifted to me by a friend since i used to play it on console, fully updated it and tried playing it only to see it say that we have incompatible versions, confused by this since I had just updated it i had asked him to check for updates, then i realized that this issue was occurring for many other steam players, thankfully I found a fix and will tell you how to fix it in this review.

FIX:
"Finally I have solved the issue: downgrade the game. Using info found on the steamdb webpage we can execute a command on the steam console to perform an specific download. The command is: ``download_depot 1985810 1985811 5380296931597271327``, in order to execute this command we need access first to the steam console and in order to do that we need to press Win + R and type ``steam://open/console``, once we do that a new tab is going to be open on the steam top bar. When the first command i have shown is executed steam is going to perform an silent download, there is no progress bar or anything, it is not going to be quick, its like a 40GB download. Once its completed a folder is going to be created on C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_1985810, all the content of this folder is going to be pasted on C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War (replacing the content that already exists, do not delete anything, just paste and replace). After that go to the library, right click on the game and under updates select "Only update this game when I launch it", then just launch the game as normal and you should be able to play right away. Let me know if this solves the problem for someone. Good luck."
Please keep checking the progress of the download, you can do this by right clicking on the depot folder and selecting properties and it will tell you the overall size of the game. I feel like they should really fix this issue but sadly since this game is becoming older it may be a while before it's fixed, so we must deal with this for now sadly.

If you've played COD Search and Destroy this is kinda like that but with more features. i got this game for my B-day and i like it SO FAR (IF U LIKE SEARCH AND DESTROY BUY THIS)

This game is very fun and i enjoy playing it. The campaign is trash as well as the multiplayer but its still a bit fun. If you like zombie survival games this is the place to be. on xmas the game is about $100 for all the dlc. I know its pricey but you could just buy the normal game and work your way up the DLC. This game still has people playing it till this day. Multiplayer is a meh. I barely find people in there but i do find them in Zombies because of how well the gamemode is. This game unlike the other black ops games has 6 zombies maps that they made for this game and their all fun. They also have 8 remastered fan favorites from WAW all the way to BO2. I love this game and if your lucky i might buy one of my lucky friends this game later on like i did with my friend Tim. I recommend that you get this if you have the money and as always. Yes, i played this game on my PS3 and loved it so much i got it on steam since i like to playgames while im going some place. MOTD and Origins are the BEST zombies maps
