Painfully unbalanced game play. But I can't help but play it. Because when its fun, its really fun. But 70% of the time you'd rather be chewing glass.

Excellent game by Arrowhead Studios. Don't let Sony's influence put you off of giving this game a go, especially now that they have back tracked their obnoxious PSN requirement.

Conceptually really cool. I like the idea of it and the theme is great. But The whole game feels straight out of 2004 but not always in a good way. The gun play and player movement feels very dated. The ADS feels very clunky and awkward to use. Switching between ADS and hip fire while firing feels really bad. The player movement is also incredibly basic. I'm not sure what could be changed with this, perhaps it should be slightly faster? If you aren't in cover when a group of enemies starts shooting at you, it doesn't really feel like dodging is possible.

I will definitely be keeping an eye on this one in the hopes that improvements are made. But at the moment, it doesn't feel good to play.

Online only Matchmaking, even for Solo play with Bots. Servers have been down more than they have been up since the official release, at the time of writing this review.

Seems HEAVILY interested in user data, like, weirdly so.

Maybe this will be worth picking up in 2 or so years once it actually works. Whether they deserve your cash for how they handle this game going forward, remains to be seen.

The price is maybe a little steep due to how long the game is, but it is a treat to play and I think it was worth the money. It definitely doesn't overstay its welcome. If you like Metal music, at least add this to your wishlist and wait for it to go on sale.

Even after a while spent troubleshooting, an Xbox One Controller doesn't work with this game. Cannot bind "Steer right".

At release, this game was terrible and EA should be ashamed of how bad it was. But since release, the game has actually been improved significantly and is actually a lot of fun now. It still has some issues, but it is worth picking up on sale and playing with friends now.

Does not utilize Steam Cloup backup for saved games.

You're selling this game through a service that has a fundemental feature. You decided to not implement it. Now users like myself have lost 30+ hours of gameplay due to you not using the features handed to you on the dominant platform of PC gaming.

Anyone that hasnt upgraded to Windows 10 just yet, make sure you go out of your way to back up your save file for this game. Rockstar apparently doesn't want Steam to do it for you.

Paid for game, that has released heaps of paid for DLC...

This game used to be great, you money grabbing sods.

Poor balancing. Terrible infact. I played through a couple of ranks and I was getting thrown in against huge gunships and Impossibly nimble dog fighters that seemed to have some kind of FTL drive.

Really narrow progression and unfair items against lower ranks. Was fun for about 2 or 3 hours.
