Came for the hot boi, stayed for the genuine connections. Cute, warm, soft, sweet, lots and lots of heart put into this game. Can't WAIT to see where it goes!

Honestly, it's a good game. It could be better, but a lot of games could be better. I'm enjoying it a lot, it's got a lot of really solid mechanics, and I've already gotten more than my money's worth from it. Some people say "oh well it's not a TRUE Fallout game", to which I say bull roar. This is just the D&D 4e of the Fallout series. It's not particularly heavy on the dialogue mechanics, but it's incredibly solid on the combat side of things. I'm actually a good person to review this game as it is, as I have no experience with any of the other Fallout games.

Upsides:
Super solid gun mechanics. The guns feel solid and act mostly like they should, recoil is realistic (though I can't speak much on the energy weapons, as those don't exist in real life).
An engaging story, albeit fairly light.
None of the quests feel truly frivolous, as all of them have some kind of impact on your relationship with any given character.
Mini nukes :D Really though, the mini nuke just FEELS good. I can't even get mad when I get on a lift, the door opens to reveal an Assaultron, I panic and end up blowing myself up at point-blank range. It's just hilarious.

Downsides:
Buggy AIs. Sometimes the NPC AI just kind of... pauses? You ask a companion to do something and it takes them a good 10 seconds to actually start doing it.
Terrible lip-syncing. There's probably a total of seven mouth positions for all the characters and they don't use all of them in regular speech so things look hella weird.
Sometimes weird hitreg. I remember a time when I struck a super mutant full in the face with a mini nuke and he just... didn't... die?
Graphical glitches. Textures frequently fail to load in some areas (though it's a temporary problem, if you fast travel away and back it sometimes fixes itself, you can also fix it by reloading the game).

Worth it?
Yes. I'll say buy it on sale if you can because that's always a good option, but if you can't, it's still worth the money. If you like blowin' ♥♥♥♥ up and feeling like a sci-fi badass in a world that's full of strangeness and lots of cool weapons and mechanics, this game is 100% for you. If you're a Fallout nut who loves the series for its lore, think before you buy, ok?

It's a true classic. There's nothing more I can really say, other than:
It's cheap.
It's fun.
There's no end of content.
It's beautiful.
It's highly addictive.

This game is absolutely amazing. I would give it a 9/10, due to the huge amount of customization. The one quibble I would have would be the new rotor engines. They're ENGINES. They should show up on the staging menu. You shouldn't need a robotics controller to get them moving.

This game is amazing. With the racing update it's only gotten better. The only downside is the afterburners make it such that you smack your face on the wall much more than is possibly healthy for a robot.
